Had the pleasure of seeing Avenue Q with friends on the May long weekend in the Shocktor Theatre. All staff were so friendly and helpful. I don't think there are any bad seats in this lovely theatre. Looking forward to a return visit soon.

My wife and I were at the MacLab Theatre for the Randy Bachman concert in April. I love it here - classy, spacey, comfy and soundtastic (new word of the day). It's the kind of theatre you want to pronounce as 'thee-ah-tuh'. You know you're in a classy environment when well-dressed staff members materialize out of thin air to tell... More

I have been to many musical concerts here and have enjoyed them all because the theatre offers both great acoustics and intimacy with the musician. Great spot for end an enjoyable evening

Avenue Q is a comic musical that touches various taboo subjects such as racism, personnal relation or getting out of the closet and admitting you're gay. The songs are catchy, the artist are very expressive and you can tell they like doing what they are doing. Tickets are a little expensive compared to the other show I visited in Edmonton.... More

Citadel Theatre is a great place to enjoy a play. Staff professional with a fantastic atmosphere. If you have time before the play there is a bistro to relax in or you can go up to the second floor and enjoy a glass of wine or beer before the show begins . You may also pre pay to have your... Vigilante - Catalyst Theatre production at Citadel was awesome. well directed, great acting, great singing and great music. all the actors could sing. the music audio was well done. Set design, costumes and the zombie theme were fantastic. edmonton was lucky to be able to put on this true Irish story of the Connelley's in Canada.

Attended Vigilante at the Citadel on Tuesday evening. It was an excellent production even thought the subject matter (the life and massacre of the Black Donnellys) was grim. Amazingly it was a musical! Technically excellent lighting, set design and costumes. Strong acting. One of the best performances I have seen.

There are 4 different theatre venues in the building. The Shoctor Theatre, Maclab Theatre, The Club, and Zeidler Hall which is also home to the improv group, Rapid Fire Theatre. You can never go wrong with the different shows they put up here every year at the main stages. Really quality shows and the actors are just absolutely talented. From... More

The theatre is cozy and clean. The acting was awesome and the theatre staff was friendly. Even though we had seats off to the side of the stage they were still very good. A very enjoyable night out. A bit loud for the younger kids but overall they thought it was awesome!
