Worn out, time for some upgrades

Too crowded and at times unorganized. Needs better rides for older kids and teens. Overpriced and long wait times on the weekend.

This review is for the hotel at West Edmonton Mall - the Fantasyland Hotel. I have always wanted to stay here, but the price has kept me away. I was treated to a birthday weekend at the hotel this year and I was blown away by how fabulous it was. We were given the top floor and our room had... More

this is an excellent indoor activity for the big & little kids. Great place to occupy the children in between some shopping. This is a must do experience for Australian's who love the snow. It was hard to believe we could be swimming whilst it was snowing outside and -26. The downside, family of 5 trying to put clothing for... More

We stayed here for two nights and it was a great value. The rooms are large and clean. We had a room with two queen beds and a set of bunk beds and they were very comfortable. The mall has lots to do for a couple of days and it was our starting point for our trip. The hotel has... More

Theme rooms for all tastes. Great place. If you can chose a room with view to the water park which is the largest indoor water park in the world. And also access to hundreds of stores in the mall not to mention bourbon street restaurants.

In the dead of winter or when you want to go shopping without dragging around older kids at West Edmonton Mall you may want to conder Fantasyland. It is essentially an indoor ride park with roller coasters and games aimed at every age. There is an adjacent food court and around 2,000 shops to appeal to everyone, We often bring... More

Always have gotten excited going to west edmonton mall over the years. Staying in the hotel, walking down and doing all the mall has to offer. So many activities, stores, places to eat. The hotel is clean, there are theme rooms. Sounds like a great weekend of fun and it is! Definitely check it out if you are in edmonton!

Otherwise, our room was clean, but we were placed next to the elevators, even though there was no noise from the guests, you can hear the elevator going up and down, opening and closing. Plus, not knowing that you need your room key to get from the 4th to the 9th floor without your door card after 9, was a... More
