I went to Telus Sparks a few weeks ago with my 3 boys (ages 2,5 & 6). My kids loved it! It was difficult for me to get them to move onto another room because they kept finding things to play with that they didn't want to leave.

Took my 9 and 12-year old children over the long weekend. I expected it to be crowded and it was. Unfortunately, that meant lines for the kids to try things, and not enough time to stay at each station, as other children were waiting their turns. The materials to build things also ran out (e.g. no paper to build an...

Good for families with small kids. It's pricey but if you can get a membership it should be more affordable.

I DO NOT recommend the new Science centre to ANYONE!!! That place was such a disappointment to my inner child. I have been waiting just over a year to get the chance to go to the new Science Centre and was beyond annoyed at the waste of time and monies that was. (cost over $70 for 3 adults and parking)....

I've visited Telus Spark a couple months ago. The venue is brand new and well located on Deerfoot. The kids exhibit is very interesting and offer a lot of options for the little ones. The others exhibits were not very exciting. Unfortunately, after 20 minutes we have seen everything and we were ready to go back home. I was expecting...

While visiting my family in Calgary we went for the day to Telus Spark. We found the ticket prices very expensive, and we were suprised to find that no family ticket is available , and to add salt to the wounds you also have to pay for parking. Once inside there is plenty of interaction including in energy conservation and...

This museum is a beautiful brand new building, very colorful surroundings but with a pricey entry fee. First level was interesting but 2nd level it is just ok. Exhibits all spread out, some educational, some not challenging, some odd, some not educational, some do not make sense. Exhibits catered more to kids under 12 not recommended for anyone older than...

We setup pipelines, tried to power a town, used balls to play drums... there were lots of hands on, try it and see what happens type of displays. As an...

Wow. I have been waiting a while to go to the new science world. Actually executing to be wowed. Very boring not even close to as much as the old centre had for double the price, distance , and space allocated. I would happily buy memberships if there was more to it. Even if the offered a reasonable family membership...

This place has some serious potential. I've brought the kids. I've been to their Adult events. Both were totally different experiences. We went on a Saturday with the kids and it was pretty busy. One of their staff told me that they do nights on Astronomy once a month in the evening and that it's not nearly as busy as...
