4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2014 NEW

My partner and I recently visited Spark. We found the activities fun for kids but we were also able to really get into most of the exhibits. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be and felt it was really expensive for what we got. They charge $5 for parking, which is ridiculous as there is nowhere... More

I think the price is a lot salty, but still we go in every chance (once a year). I was lucky that a friend gave me a free ticket, otherwise I would pay adult $19,99 teens and senior $15,99 and child $12,99 +tax. You will find an outdoor playground with a rock that spins, giant music instruments and a 69'... More

Thanks for taking the time both to visit TELUS Spark and to provide us with your feedback on your experience. The evacuation was a false alarm. The system alarm is an early warning detection system in place to ensure public safety. The alarm triggers a protocol for our organization to safely clear the building until the first responders determine it... More

If you have young kids that want to run around this is what this place is for. I always loved science as a kid but even as a kid I wanted to learn and understand, science is a passion of mine but after coming here it was depressing, I loved the old science center, and I have no idea why... More

Was in there with a group of special needs children for an outing and visited creative kids museum and other areas found it to be dirty unclean far from sanitary or safe for the children to be playing in as well they have started to remove stuff from there when there wasn't much in the first place. so in closing... I just saw some of the reviews from other about the new science centre and want to share my experience.I arrived there for a fun afternoon remembering my experience at the previous location as a child as a really fun place. I was terribly disappointed. We ended up getting a refund within 15 minutes and my grandmother came in for... More

When we read the web site, it sounded like a blast for all ages. But we found out that it was more for small children and our teenagers were board very quickly. It was actually quite disappointing for the price as it was not cheap. We quickly realized we should have just paid to see the movie they play instead... More

We got free tickets to the Dome so we decided to go. We regretted it almost immediately. First we couldn't just go to the Dome, we had to pay general admission to get our "free" tickets. $40 later we get the tickets. We are told we are going to see Forces of Nature which looked awesome. We actually got to... More

Thanks for taking the time both to visit TELUS Spark and to provide us with your feedback on your experience. Sorry to hear your experience in the Dome did not meet with your expectations. I found that although very modern, that the new science center lacks creativity, aside from their previous location. The only highlight of my experience was their outdoor slide. The activities presented were very calgarian themed, but for someone who is interested in science, there wasn't much provided. Overall, the staff were nice, but I don't plan on going again.

Don't waste your money, unless you have a child in the age range of 3-5. Perhaps when the sponsors are big oil and gas and telecommunications the focus isn't on real science and learning. Hmm.
