It takes a core set of skills to create something new, whether it's a ground breaking discovery or a toy robot. TELUS Spark is a place to build these skills by using your imagination to see beyond what exists, your curiosity to formulate a question and persistence and problem-solving skills to keep going, despite surprises and mistakes, to find the confidence in yourself to uncover the answers. « less

1. $5.00 for parking with only other option is to park off site and take the C-train which would be more money. With the high entrance cost parking should be included. pretty sad especially when we are from out of town and have no alternative. 2. Summer camps are everywhere and a noticeable number of children are not supervised. This... More

Our kids are aged 11 & 14 and they were dis-interested from the start. The Telus Spark truly needs a spark if it wants to attract future visitors. Not enough science stimulation for teens. If you have teens, go somewhere else.

Myself, my girlfriend and his 5 year old son went. We drove down from Red Deer and paid for parking at 3:15pm. Thanks. We got in and paid admission, then we're informed they closed at 5pm. We just paid $60. Thanks. We got in, walked around and weren't even mildly amused by the "exhibits" that resemble that of a 6th... More

We went for a fundraiser event. Very organized there. Great interactive exhibits. There is also an adult night once a month.

Exciting, informative, clean, and Very friendly staff. This is a great place to bring the whole family. Wide variety of daily movies, interactive exhibits for everyone. Extremely clean facility. Cool kids museum too.

My wife and i visited Telus Spark today, June 16th 2014. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. First let's address cost. $5.00 for parking when there is really no other way to get there other than drive. Typical Calgary attitude! The senior discount is a joke, a mere $2.00 off the regular adult fare. We have been lucky... More

After visiting the previous science centre 5+ times, I was looking forward to seeing the 'new and improved' building expecting for it to be full of more updated and creative booths however I was incredibly dissapointed. The main booth that shocked me more than anything was the section dedicated to Sexually Transmitted Infections. Yes, you heard me correctly. I took... More

We wanted to check this place out as it sounded amazing. It might be, but we didn't find the 'excitement'. It is expensive but we had planned a day of it and were prepared to make the most of the experience. We went during a weekday so we had the same 'school' experience with large crowds of children running everywhere.... More

We decided to try the new science centre with my 2 year old toddler & my newest baby. I arrived early - I wanted to avoid the crouds. Had to pay for parking (not impressed) then arrive & see a ton of children/schools. They were allowed in early to check out things. I found yhe downstairs quite boring - upstairs... More

I also found it over priced and not up to my expectations .did enjoy the IMAX theatre but if you just Want the IMAX you still have pay entrance for both. Some of the interactive materials were feathers and slips of paper and on the floor. There was a lot of wasted space. Some of the oil and gas info... More
