This is such a lovely place to visit, whether to see the competitions or visit the various markets. It's a short drive from south Calgary. I especially like the Christmas light display they have each year.

I love spruce meadows, these ground are immaculate, if its not for the show jumping in the summer season, there is always something going on, my second favourite time of year here is the Christmas Markets, a must see, my favourite is at night when the fires are going on a cold evening

This facility located a short drive south of the city of Calgary is all about horses, specifically show jumping. It's a beautiful grounds, lots of areas to explore and numerous different arenas. They often host other events in their facilities year round. A must see if you're a fan of show jumping.

Went here as my wife loves horses - I am not so bothered about them. She was blown away by it and so was I! Where else can you see beautiful horses in immaculate grounds with international class show-jumping going on at the same time and all for free? Even if you are not particularly fond of horses, it is... More

For horse lovers or simply enthusiasts of perfectly kept parks, this is a superb structure. Clean, well groomed lawns with immaculate stables, full of happy , friendly, well prepared staff in every corner. A true representation of true Calgarian hospitality.

I would have spent the entire day here--or weekend! If I wasn't with my husband who is not into horses the way I am. Even so, we still spent an hour here as an unplanned side trip while in town for the Calgary Stampede. This place is beautiful and if you've never been to a large equestrian event location like...
