Looking good after last year's flood

Fun district to toddle around in and poke in shops, grab a coffee or a bite to eat. I usually drop my car off at 4&20 to have it washed and then go for a pleasant wander.

This is one of the truly walk-friendly retail sections in Calgary. While driving through it can be frustrating that means it's built for what it's built for. This is a MUST stop for weekend evening activities, restaurants, sports bars, lounges, shopping, along with a number of Mom n Pop stores that add lots of flare. Do yourself a favor, park... More

A nice place to browse and shop at the many local small businesses. Many excellent and diverse restaurants in the area. The area is open for business and very vibrant following our June 2013 floods. Mission and Calgary is very resilient and we thank all the volunteers, organizations and others who helped out!

Mission is a nice neighborhood in the city, with older character homes, modern condos, inviting restaurants and funky shops. We like to walk in this area on the weekend...and we hope it rebuilds and recovers after the great flood of 2013

Mission has become an area of the city to sit on the patio and enjoy the vibe of an upscale part of town that is vibrant day and night. It is close to downtown but still maintains the feel of a unique neighborhood with many bright victorian homes and a generous quantity of big trees. Some of the finest restaurants... More

In our recent trip to familiarize ourselves with Calgary, our favourite area was Mission. Lower key than 17th Ave, a bit shinier than Kensington, we decidedly spent more time here than any other place we discovered. I'm sure we missed some Calgary sweet spots, but what we liked about this area was the mix of residential, shops and restaurants. Joyce... More

Mission is a picturesque area for walking by the river and through Lindsay Park, and has many century-old houses, lots of shops and a great choice of restaurants. Trendy, hipster, cool area.

Quaint, fun and clean. What a safe and fun part of the city, and be sure to visit the French bakery!!! You will not regret it!!!

This area was a decent walk from the Hyatt on Center and 7th. Lots of great restaurants. From vegan to tapas, and pub to happening nightlife.

I love this neighbourhood. All the best Calgary has to offer - river walkways, great independent shops and restaurants - good nightlife. Check it out in May for the Lilac Festival where the street turns into one huge street party. Like Garlic? Try the unique Garlic Clove restaurant, where, even the beer has garlic in it!
