The CPO is one of the city's greatest attractions, bringing together some of the world's great artists/musicians. Many of the members are long standing musicians with the CPO. The music selection is quite varies so it appeals to just about any taste in music. Tickets are by subscription or by individual performance. Our tastes are Pops and Classical, but enjoy... More

We finally bought tickets for the CPO, after hearing rave reviews from acquaintances and friends. The performance was Peer Gynt & Northern Lights. The experience was simply superb! I can only imagine how much effort and talent it takes to pull off such a show. I will highly recommend the CPO to all my friends!

For Halloween night my husband and I decided to get dressed up and see The Nightmare Before Christmas. They played the music as the film was on. It was magical and I would suggest to anyone to see them. It was an event for all ages.

Cultured yet humorous. These events are always refreshing and the building (Jack Singer) has great acoustics! Love pops night and when special guests are brought in!

This was the second time we have seen the Bugs Bunny Symphony in conjunction with a Canadian Philharmonic Orchestra, and it was very well done. Of course the venue, Jack Singer Concert Hall, provides for the perfect setting for the orchestra. Was made this one more special, is that they presented two brand new modern version cartoons which were made... More

The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra is a great place to go and hear music if one is visiting Calgary. The music ranges from rock and roll to pop to light and traditional classical music. Dress ranges from blue jeans to formal attire. What ever you want to war is appropriate.

Some interesting programs during the year. A great performance hall with excellent acoustics and good view lines. The orchestra is fine for a city that prides itself more on rodeo than classical music.

We have been CPO Pops season ticket holders for more than 10yrs. We chose and stayed with Pops because we love this genre of music and the terrific variety of music/ conductors there has been. Our favorite are the Jeans n classic groups, our favorite conductor was the late Marvin Hamlisch .

My husband and I don't listen to classical music and had never been to the symphony before. We decided to try something new so bought tickets for a random evening. We absolutely loved the experience! We found it engaging and super entertaining. I wouldn't hesitate to go to another show.
