The Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra has become a sophisticated well-honed orchestra. There has not been one uncomfortable concert in the main series for two years. Completely enjoyable,

The musical hall is convenient located in downtown core, so it is very easily accessible to many downtown office folks for after work shows, and students via C-Train. The sounds are always great, and the performance has been fantastic. Get one of their package deals which have themed performances with better value. Highly recommend!

This symphony is deep with talent, creative with musical diversity and blessed with a venue that showcases the depth of their musical magic. The Jack Singer hall is one the my favourite stages to attend and when CPO fills it with resonance , lightness and humour, how can you go wrong. The recent 50 yrs of "James Bond" was enjoyment... The CPO was the highlight of my time in Calgary. A lovely venue and extremely talented orchestra. My favourite wasn't as classical as you would all think, it was the Bugs bunny one. :) Fantastic, and shows the CPO is so flexible, and has a good sense of humour.

I went with a colleague to the 2001: A Space Odyssey performance as part of Rush Hour series. The tweet seats were a great addition to the performance. Enriched my experience.

We attended a children's production that basically brought Mozart to life for all ages to understand. Before the concert the children are invited to a "petting zoo" with the instruments. A touch of class, elegance, with a casual Alberta feel. There is no bad seating throughout the entire auditorium. People of all ages and status share equally in this entertaining experience. Consider buying season tickets for family members, you will be appreciated.
