With Calgary being the Heart of boomtown Alberta, and with Calaway park being on busy Highway #1 it is time for a major upgrade to this park. I am thinking a Six Flags style coaster park, which would make Calgary the major tourist attraction it deserves to be!

We decided this year to purchase season passes so we can come when the kids are bored. Instead of going for the entire day we either go in the morning before the heat sets in or around 4pm when there isn't as many people. I mean the park is ok, but it's a very simple park. There's a couple of... More

Very busy day, pity the log ride was not ready as it is summertime, plenty of rides to go on, out 2 year old loved it, the park really needs updating & painting for next year`s season, plenty of eating places to go to, all had a good time though.

Not sure if it is worth paying full price for the whole day but definitely worth ~$20 after 2PM. It has small rides but good family fun, small wait times, sometimes roller coaster can get busy and the wait times will be around 15 min. This park is missing decent food, there are not a lot of choices but manageable... More

Lots of rides, some of which the whole family could do together. Our kids seem to be at the age where it was too scary for them to do the "adult ride" (the vortex/ chaos/ etc) so there weren't too many that we could all go on together, which wasn't ideal. However, the kids enjoyed the "kiddie" rides immensly and... More

Recent visit with young grandchildren. They always have fun there. The park promised Spring 2014 log ride opening, still under construction! It is almost seasons end. The park staff all young and friendly, nice to see employment for students. The park needs paint, I guess five and two year olds don't notice.

If you have not been anywhere else to compare theme or amusement parks, you will likely have a good time. However, this is one of Calgary's main family attractions that could make serious improvements. We were not advised that Timber Falls was not operational, offered. O discount at entry for this reason. Not enough else in our children's age group... More

I went many times as a child. Now my wife and I have a tradition of going closing weekend. Still get a thrill from the roller coaster.

I love Calaway park there are a lot of rides you can ride on with your child which is awesome! I do find it a bit expensive. Paid 13 bucks for a cold burger. It would have tasted good warm I think but still pretty pricey. Used to get a full bag of mini donuts for 5 bucks now you... More
