Beautiful Park in the Middle of the NW

Definitely worth a walk through this beautiful park. We had family pictures taken here in the fall -- huge trees with colourful leaves provided a wonderful backdrop.

We live on the other side of town from this park, so we do not visit much over the year. But we make a special trip every Christmas season to see the spectacular light display they have. We park our car, walk inside and enjoy all of the gorgeous displays. It has turned into a wonderful tradition for our family.

YYC has a great variety of city parks---and this Gem has been around to enjoy for a long time. Walking, bicycling, golfing, great for all seasons picnicking--- great Xmas light display----and an environment compatible with lots of fresh air and relaxation. YYC is fortunate---and Bravo! to the city for impressive care and maintenance! Recommended!

Spring, summer, and fall are the very best times to enjoy, but winter walks, on fine days, are great. Excellent space for families, walkers, joggers.

I have been going to this park for years. Usually I go in the fall to take photo's of my kids in the leaves, but I have also gone in the winter for sledding. There are paved walkways perfect for walking/jogging or rollerblading ect. Lots of ducks in the water that are fun for the kids to feed. Several area's... More

The day was hot and sunny, squintingly so. Confed Park was cool, moist, green and a little oasis in a bustling hustling city that Calgary has become. Bring a seat or blanket and a novel and stay awhile!
