Relaxing Trails

Enjoyed our walk in the Confederation Park, we unwind and geocache at the same time, the park is well maintained and beautiful. Great place to get away from the city.

One loop around is 45 minutes. There are benches along the way, as well as toilet facilities at the Calgary Recreation building at the northern part of the park. Far away from houses, yet multiple entry points, this is a park for many to enjoy. On a warm sunday afternoon, many people were picnicking sitting on grass. Small stream runs... More

Busy all the time. People walking their dogs should be aware that at the left tunnel there are coyotes. Lots of wildlife here even ducks swimming in the water with their little broods. Great for camera snappers too. Great for family walks and picnics.

We live nearby and it is a beautiful Park to enjoy solo running, walking or with the kids at the playground area. Fun for all!

Beautiful scenery, wildlife and the perfect place to walk your dog on a lazy Sunday afternoon with a coffee. I would only imagine it is great for a picnic in the summer providing the grass is poop free...1 full lap around the park is the perfect distance for small breed dogs for their daily walk.

I was here for a wedding - in fact, I planned this wedding. Called 311 weeks ahead to ensure the grass would be mowed. Assured it would be. Alas, the day before - arrived early for the rehearsal to find the grass calf high!!! Called 311 and was assured it would be completed prior to our arrival the next day.... More

I have spent years walking around the loop with the famous Buddy who recently passed to Dog Heaven. Very busy on weekends and you have to pick up poop, illegal to feed ducks bread because their stomachs will explode not what you want your kids to see. Coyote lived on hill to left of tunnel. He might have got taken... More

What a great place to go for a walk or bike ride. The park was established in Canada's centennial year, 1967, so has well established trees and walkways. If this place can't relax you you are WAY too uptight, talk to your doctor!

I've lived in Calgary for most of my life, and would always come here a couple times a month for a walk. It's a beautiful park, all the people are so friendly, and it provides the perfect way to get some exercise in the city. There's nothing special about this park, per say, except that it's just a beautiful place... More
