If you are looking for a camp for your child think twice before to choose YMCA EAU CLAIRE! My child was almost strangled by other child there this summer. Looks like the staff is not trained enough to help children to solve the conflicts between them using the words and they do not really pay attention what the kids are... More

This facility is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Calgary and easily accessed from many routes. There is street and parkade parking close by. Our dragon boat teams meet there weekly for training from March onward until we are able to practice on the water. The Eau Claire YMCA is quite large and offers a variety of spaces to... More

Eau Claire is one of those must-go places during our too-short summers. In addition to Kensington, it's a walk friendly all round great place to be. In the warmer months there are plenty of people out running, rollerblading, walking. It's a wonderful place to take a stroll ice-cream in hand while taking in the views of the Bow. The actual... We enjoy going to Eau Claire market at least a couple of times a year. When we have the little ones with us in the summer they like to spend some time in the wading pool. We then wander through the market to have a bite to eat and/or to check out some of the shops. We then head over... More

This place is surrounded by some of the nicest condos in the city. It's not like other YMCA's. It feels like a private club has a great running track upstairs. Reason I call it the riverbank is there's a lot of real estate agents and investors hanging out there in the morning.

Clean, convenient YMCA in the heart of downtown Calgary. Drop-in rates are available and there are 2 large floors to work out in, including cardio machines, weights, and circuit/stretching areas. The YMCA also has a gymnasium and 2 pools.

Excellent facility and courteous staff-always willing to help. I find mornings are the least crowded . The equipment is well maintained and there is a good selection of drop in classes for every taste.

This pool was a pleasure to swim in. Clean, well maintained with 2 lifeguards on duty. Lanes well signposted for slow/medium/fast swimming. A great resource in Downtown Calgary.

Staff are always very friendly, and it's never too busy in the early weekday mornings. Lots of equipment and space, all clean and in good repair. Good value on the dollar.
