This small theatre is located downtown at the bottom of the Calgary Tower. I had not attended an event here before and was very pleased with the venue. I really enjoyed the ballet and the music. My granddaughter is only 5 and was not happy there was no singing like in the Lion King (her words). But she did get... More

Got a chance to catch The Mousetrap production at Vertigo and being as it was our first time there we didn't know what to expect. I've seen the play in London Town so I knew the story but this version and the feeling of being in London back in the 60'S at an early production as the play was beginning... More

I went with my wife to see Dial M for murder and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the performance. Even if you are not an avid fan of Theater, I recommend you check Vertigo out, you will not be dissappointed.

I have been attending Vertigo theatre for some time. There has never been a bad performance, they always deliver over the top. Even if it is old well repeated work like Dial M for Murder. They make it feel fresh and engaging. The actors and directors always shine on the stage And what a stage they create! The set designers... More

This is a mystery theater. We have seen 2 shows here. Incredible talent and highly entertaining! The productions have been flawless. It is a nice size theatre, not a bad seat in the place. Can't wait for the next show!! Note: there is also a series for young audiences.

We've been planning to go to a theater play for the past couple of years, but always ended up seeing a movie instead. Last night we finally went for it and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was a Shakespeare play, Equivocation. I have so much respect for the highly talented actors and for the energetic organizers. Thank you... More

We subscribe to Vertigo Theater and have enjoyed live performances for several years. Staging is out of this world, but simple. Actors are professional and do a great job. Directing is always good. Selection of shows has been very rewarding over the years. Worth a visit if you have not seen Vertigo productions before and you enjoy live theater.

This theater is unfortunately not at the forefront when it comes to theater in Calgary, and it's a shame. Very rarely, VERY rarely do we come away disappointed from a play here. The talent is amazing, The location is terrific, and it is a terrific was of spending an afternoon or evening. This is our second year as season ticket... More

This is our 6th year as season ticket holders. The selection each year of mystery plays continues to surprise. This season opened with the excellent Fairwell, my lovely (by Raymond Chandler). Try one show then consider becoming a subscriber as there is a considerable discount. Also, buy the parking pass for the convenience. For visitors to Calgary, call the ticket... More

We are dedicated Theatre Calgary subscription holders, but decided to give the Vertigo Mystery Theatre a go with “The Hound of the Baskervilles”, and we were very impressed. I like the classics, and with the great seats we had, (I don’t think there are any bad seats here) the show really came to life. We will be going back.
