It was an amazing experience in this museum , we feel like we are in the same time were those planes made , it is little bit small in size and little bit old but it is a nice place for the family and for the kids to take an idea about the planes and the history of aviation in... More

Kind of a small aviation museum, full of interesting airplanes though. Nice that some of the airplanes can be touched and that kids can go up and look inside the cockpits.

Went with two children and two adults. Took us about 2 hours max to visit it all. One building had just planes and the other housed a few smaller planes and LOTS of info on them. You could walk up and peer into the planes but could not sit in them. My kids did like sitting in the ejector seat.... More

The Calgary Aero Space Museum in Calgary is on it's own a great way to spend an afternoon enjoying vintage aircraft. But to make things really special, we chose this venue for our daughters wedding reception this past July 4. In a nutshell, the wedding was perfect and the reception was fabulous. Everyone commented on how great the experience was... More

The museum had a good amount of older aircraft that have been used throughout the last century of flight. Some replica craft as well as some planes that had been used and restored. The museum itself was self guided on the weekend when I went but it would have been nice to have a bit of a guided tour to... More

The Musuem is sure far from the city and needs a Bus ride ... around 25 minutes. But its worth a visit. It has nice original planes from the world war era and there is an instructor who gives you the best of advise

For a small museum, it has a wonderful collection. Focusing on the aviation (and more military than civilian) history of flight in and around the Calgary area, this is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon if you like aviation. The static displays are well maintained, and the interpretive plaques are well laid out as well. I just wish they... More

We organised our 6 year old birthday party of our son at the museum. We had never been there before the party, we just had looked at reviews online. We invited about 22 people ( children and adults), we had the Lancaster room for 2 hours. We brought food, drinks, decoration. We had some guide tour included in the price.... More

I always enjoy aviation museums and this one doesn't disappoint. I really liked the DC-3 and the WWII aircraft. Lots of historical information.

Took my grandson to the museum and was quite impressed how it was set up. It was a very educational experience for young and old alike. The assortment of different aircraft beginning with the early flying machines was amazing and we actually were allowed to climb inside a helicopter along with information from a tour guide about the helicopter. Their... More
