This museum is very interesting and so peaceful. I have been there both for just pleasure but also for an event. They do a great job.

Basically a few hangers with planes in them. Not very interactive and not much information about some of the planes. Would be nice if there atleast was a way to look inside the planes. I got bored as a adult and can't imagine how bored I would be as a child here. Go to the airport and watch the planes... More

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We are always looking to improve the museum, including adding more interactive elements. Father's Day weekend is a great time to come, because we have our aircraft open for viewing on that weekend. More

Its astounding to look at this historical presentation, to fathom the bravery of the men and women that flew in some of these magnificent machines, to imagine being aloft in these planes. If you try to put yourself in their place it'll take you away....

It truly took bravery to fly in some of the aircraft we have here. I cannot personally imagine flying in the Silver Dart! We are pleased to hear that you had a good visit! More

Great for kids, lots to read about. Unfortunately, we went when they shut down the 2nd hanger for a private function which was a bummer.

I stopped in here on my way from the Calgary airport to Jasper National Park, and am glad I did. They pack a lot of cool stuff into one small building - it provides a quick survey of 20th century Canadian aviation. Although I'm from USA, I've also seen the Canadian aviation museum in Ottawa, and this one compares favorably.... More

Lots of older commercial and military aircraft. Also has lots of engines from the early days of aviation up until the 60s. Museum staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth the visit!

This was very interesting and a must for my partner who is very interested in aviation. It was very neat to see the planes; the ones in the outside tent absolutely blew my mind. I still can't believe how huge they were. It's a shame that it was not busy when we were there as it seems that the interest... More

We had too little time to really explore Calgary any further, but too much time to sit in the airport before our flight. This museum was really fun for passing that time without having to worry about rush hour traffic on the Deerfoot Trail freeway approaching the airport. (And it was bumper to bumper, we got to the terminal taking... More
