My favourite aircraft to look at is the North American F-86 Sabre. It has a link to Chuck Yeager as he has flown this jet. Also, the CF-100 Canuck and CF-101 Voodoo are great examples of Cold War air power.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. The Sabre certainly is a special piece of history, nevermind its unique shape and design. More

Located near the airport, this inexpensive attraction is informative, interactive and the staff can answer almost all your Canadian Aviation questions. Dress warm, because the big stuff is in the tent building outside and there is no heat.

Visited this museum on a cold day last week. A very nice museum with a lot of information about Canada' role in Aeroplanes and Helicopters. Gives a nice experience to peep into the cockpits of the small Aeroplanes exhibited. The memorial hall is very nice giving us a list of martyrs.. Biggeer planes were on display at the Hangar which... We visited this museum for free on the "Open Doors Calgary" day - when many city attractions open their doors to the general public for free. There is a lot to see here, many showing the history of air travel in Canada. Nothing recent like an Airbus A380 there! However, there is a good selection of older aircraft available to... More

Thank you very much for visiting us during Doors Open! We would love to see you again and suggest that the best time to visit us is during Father's Day weekend when we open up a few select aircraft for viewing. More

My husband loves planes, so this was of course on our to-do list in Calgary. He was thrilled examining all of the aviation on display; I found all of the stories told on the walls around the planes interesting. Together, we had a very enjoyable time.

I had been here years ago with my bow 16 year old, so I thought I would try with my 3 month old & 2 year old. Admission is $10 unless you have an AMA card, then it is cheaper. We happened to go on a windy day, but I didn't know until after I paid that due to the... More

Thank you very much for your review. We apologize that you were unable to view our second building due to the wind conditions. We also apologize that you were not informed about our elevator that could have taken you to the second floor. We will certainly endeavour to tell all of our guests with strollers about the elevator in the... More

Pleasantly surprised at the displays here. Very humbling to see gun turrets and the size of the cockpits these pilots had to function in. They even had an F-86 Sabre there. Really makes me want to take the kids to some of the bigger aero museums when they get older.

I've expected something better, but interesting enough to pay it a visit, especially in a city sure not full of turists' attractions. Enjoyable. Maybe not a big choice in the souvenirs' shop, but enjoyable.

We attended a wedding at the aerospace centre. The surroundings were very cool with aeroplanes all aroud the outside of the room and the tables and chairs in the middle.A very nice venue for a large party.
