If you come here to ski, take note that this is NOT like the ski hills in the mountains. It is an urban hill that was built for the Olympic events such as aerials, ski jumping, bobsled, etc. This is a hill set in the city, and is used often by locals to get in a day or evening of... More

I don't normally review anything on here but this time I absolutely had to log in to mark this as terrible. I recently set out from Ontario on a Western Canada ski trip from Calgary to Whistler (COP, Sunshine Village, Lake Louise, Kicking Horse and Whistler) and I have nothing but good things to say about every single one of... I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your time here. We are certainly not comparable to the other mountain parks you visited in terms of variety of terrain, but we do have some double black diamond runs that are enjoyable for the more experienced skier and snowboarder on our ski hill. Our terrain park and super pipe are... More

Great place for beginner skier & not too expensive. Has the original bobsled on display from the Disney favourite " Cool Runnings". There's fast food joint inside & lots of parking.

Nice hill for snowboarding and a bit of light skiing. especially in the spring time it was only $19.88 for a day pass. So for a reasonably cheap day out it is good. No long runs but they have soem half pipes and moguls to give you a bit of a challenge. the cafeteria is overpriced so bring a picnic... More

I learned how to snowboard here, with the Ski Cellar Women's Program about (cringe, 11 years ago) It was such an empowering program and really conveniently located in our great city. I recently went back for an advanced lesson! Our instructor and group is amazing and again, I am receiving high quality lessons to help me develop in my leisure... More

Visited here for zipline and summer bobsleigh package, which we had pre booked. Unfortunately, before we arrived in Calgary, my wife suffered a broken rib and thought it unwise for her to participate in these activities. We notified Winsport a couple of days earlier of this and they said a refund / credit could be arranged when we arrived there.... More

Have skied here in the past many times. It's a great hill if you just want to get out and have a leisurely day of skiing. They have a great ski school available for anyone interested in lessons. Can get crowded at times but you have to take the good with the bad and it's a hill to ski on... More

There are 2 great experiences at COP that you should take advantage of and those are the bobsleigh and luge. Now if you suffer from back or neck problems don't attempt either as they can be a good jolt to the body. The G forces on the body during the bobsleigh are quite a bit for the body to deal... More

In the summer, the mountain biking is a lot of fun so is the Skyline Luge (a bit expensive but still a fun experience) But in terms of skiing, it's terrible. If you are learning then it's an alright hill, if you have a learner in the family but some more experienced thrill seekers, chances are they will get bored... More
