In the summer, the mountain biking is a lot of fun so is the Skyline Luge (a bit expensive but still a fun experience) But in terms of skiing, it's terrible. If you are learning then it's an alright hill, if you have a learner in the family but some more experienced thrill seekers, chances are they will get bored... More

I'm not at all an adrenaline junkie, but I must admit that I'm glad I experienced this. The staff at WinSport were great, but I did feel as though there could've been a bit more attention to safety and explanation of the effects of G-forces on the body. I sat in the 2nd spot on the bobsled and that is... More

Considering it is in the middle of a city, and is very busy, the staff does a great job of keeping the place humming along. My grandson had a group discovery snowboard lesson for 90 minutes, with all equipment and lift ticket included for less than $70.00. My daughter and I were snowboarding for @five hours, and considering the huge... More

I took my son here for a day excursion...........We booked a discovery snowboard lesson.....He was one on one with a wonderful instructor......Itchy......He said this was his favorite thing he did the whole trip......the lesson included snow boots, board, helmet and instruction......a great deal......after the lesson he was able to practice by himself.....the park itself is amazing and has the Olympic... Staff was great, preparation I felt was a little lacking. The ride itself was VERY rough. Felt like we were alternately being in a car crash, or being put in a clothes dryer. I am a young, healthy person with no pre-existing neck issues and I can barely move my neck 1 day later from all of the being thrown... More

I read about the Olympic Park that it would be a "must see" for Calgary, considering there isn't too much to see in this City anyway. I went out there as the 88 Olympics have been a captivating event, particularly with the great movie "Cool Runnings" in mind and the journey of the Jamaican bobsleigh team back then. You can... My partner spent an afternoon here skiing for the first time. There were no instructors available on the day so pre book lessons if required in advance. Getting kitted up and signing waivers was quick and easy. There is a viewing area outside for relatives / friends to watch if desired and views from indoor are also available. We went... More

This was my first time being here and I loved it. Seeing the ski slopes, and people actually using them, was quite cool. While I was there, they were doing some renovations to the park, but if you ignored the people in hard hats it was amazing. My favourite part was the torch. It was surrounded by flags of every... I came here while stopping in Calgary for a couple of days. I had managed to arrive soon after the park had opened for the season. I came here twice, the first time I came in the last hour (about 20:00/8pm) and then I came in the day time at about 13:00/1pm to 17:00/5pm. The run itself is quite short,... More

I live in Calgary and have to use the ski hill for several years now. my children go there too for the lessons. Unless you absolutely have to for the luck of snow on the real mountains, do not go to the COP. The staff is mostly from Australia and far from knowledgeable, helpful or efficient. the lines for the... More
