We had 2 things in mind when we planned on going - Luge Ride and Bobsled. My son is 12 was not old enough for the Bobsled. We considered ziplining as well but it was closed anyway due to the wind. People were able to get a refund who had prebooked tickets. The Luge was fun and you take a... More

Spent an afternoon at WinSport but should have planned for the whole day. So many fun, active things to do. My husband and 8 year old son luged 8x on the track and loved it. We mini golfed as well. Wish we had time to rent bikes and visit the hall of fame but we didn't realize we should have... More

Did the luge with my husband and 2 sons as we happened to make a pit-stop. So glad we did! One of the best "karting" ever and I doubt I can go back to the good ol' go-kart now. The park is huge and so many things to do... ziplining, bobsledding, etc. Definitely going back for the luge ride if... More

we started with the luge. Its fun and all the teenagers loved it. 10 rides @ 70 dollars. You will need plenty of money, its not cheap. Next we went to Bobsleigh.aussie guy who takes you down is hilarious, was feeling petrified before hand, 90 miles an hour in 1 1/2 mins! its certainly not for the faint hearted. well... More

My 11 hr old son and I went for the day. The place is beautiful and full of history, so worthwhile. I had been in 1996 so I thought I'd revisit, and it has changed dramatically. The awesome was the Luge ride. My son, who is tentative, was wary of the luge. But after 1 run, he couldn't get enough.... More

Lots of fun things to do at Calgary's Olympic Park. The luge was a family favourite - everyone took the course a couple times. It was great fun whether you wanted to just take a leisurely ride down and enjoy the terrific view, or if you wanted to make the best (fastest) time possible! The more adventurous in the family... Take the time to do some of the great activities they offer here. I highly recommend the luge as well as taking the ski lift to the top - you get a stunning view of the city when you come back down.

From the 88 Olympics, now an activity area there are: a go cart like luge run, Bobsleigh run with the bobsled on wheels piloted by former Olympians, mountain biking including lessons and equipment rental. More that we didn't get to see or try.

Contrary to other reviews on here, I can honestly say I had the most amazing run on the summer bob sled. I suffer from terrible car/motion sickness (i cant even read a map in a car) but I was determined to take the opportunity to go where Olympic athletes had been before me, and of course the film Cool Runnings... We stopped here to take photos of the 1988 Winter Olympic site. We were there near closing and due to power outage couldn't go inside. We got to see the flags and flame cauldron. The Jamacian and Canadian bobsleds used in Disney movie are there. We could see at least three ski jumps and current training facilities. Nice visit in... More
