This is a great venue to watch speed skating. You can view some of the world's best speed skaters perform and practice here, and most of the time it is free. Sometimes there is a hockey game going on in the center ice surface and there may also be action on the short track ice surface. Lots of great entertainment... More

As a real Dutch girl I had to see the Olympic Oval. An Oval where a lot of Dutch speed skaters did very well! Very nice that you can see the oval for free.

Possibly one of the best places in entire North America that you can enjoy ice skating. Addmistion for public skating is a little bit too high but maintenance of the ice is costly as well.

Great place to learn to ski and ample amount of space. Admission is reasonable and a fun day out! The centre of the rink is used for raqulette ( if that's how you spell it)?!

On winter time the place is used as speed racing skating and regular skating rink. On summer it is used as a bike lane along with many other sport activities.

Went there on the weekend to watch some volleyball teams play from all over Canada. What a great facility, I had no idea it was that big. (could have built more washrooms) It is great to have this in Calgary, and walked through the U of C and it was great.

The event was great, staff very friendly. Atmosphere in the stadium could be better, only half of the oval is available for seating. Bad catering, hard to get any food during the World Cup all round skating. Service for beers is pretty slow.
