Great place to learn to ski and ample amount of space. Admission is reasonable and a fun day out! The centre of the rink is used for raqulette ( if that's how you spell it)?!

On winter time the place is used as speed racing skating and regular skating rink. On summer it is used as a bike lane along with many other sport activities.

You came to the right place to cheer on all Canadian superstar you may even get to meet one of them while they are here training for their events. From skiing to bobsledding this place has it all covered . It also has a sports museum . Summertime the ski hills are closed down but other events are still going... More

The OVAL is where the Olympics took place back in 1988!!! They were a sight to behold!!! ITS a lovely building for sure, lots of seating and the skating itself is something to watch!!! It holds world events there I believe and a lot are worth going to see!!!! Its quite something!!!!

Went there on the weekend to watch some volleyball teams play from all over Canada. What a great facility, I had no idea it was that big. (could have built more washrooms) It is great to have this in Calgary, and walked through the U of C and it was great.

The event was great, staff very friendly. Atmosphere in the stadium could be better, only half of the oval is available for seating. Bad catering, hard to get any food during the World Cup all round skating. Service for beers is pretty slow.

The Olympic Oval is for sure one good legacy that the Olympics left to the university of Calgary and to the city itself.
