My friends and I did a ride yesterday with Timberline. First of all, Susan was very helpful and patient on the phone and waited for us to arrive. Brenton was our tenative guide. He was informative about the area but his humor made it FUN, it was never boring. We laughed the whole way. The horses were gentle and easy... More

We rode yesterday with Brenton. We had a great time. The horses were well cared for and very familar with the trial. It had just snowed and it was very very beautiful and serene. Yes the trails are narrow in places, but in my experience that is part of "trail" riding. Yes we had to share with a few hikers-... More

We had a wonderful ride around Lake Louise, Bree was our guide and had so much info to say during our ride, she went at our pace seeing my wife's first ride, The horses were well suited to us. We recommend this riding stable. Lisa and Jake

My friends & I were on the half day ride with someone who wrote a very bad review; we had the opposite experience. We all have horses of our own. It did rain all day; can't blame anyone for that & we had a very good time regardless. We have many photos of healthy horses in front of us &... More

Well I have to say it was my first time visiting Alberta and we had 2 amazing rides with them.First we did the ride to the Tea House. It was the most rewarding ride I have ever been on and I have been riding for 40+ years. The trails were breathtaking and knowing that the horses were experienced and knew what they... I have owned and ridden horses for well over 30 years. Most of those years have been spent doing competitive endurance riding in some very challenging country. My ride at this facility was nothing short of awful! The poor horse I had was so small, it was like riding a 2 yr old. The trails are narrow and shared with... More

Horses have been doing these trails since 1935, taking thousands of tourists and my guess is about 90% of them would be in the beginner rider category. If the rides were operated dangerously do you really think we would be in business this long? I really don’t understand why this person didn’t come back when she was asked if she... More

I went on a 3.5h horse ride up to the little Beehive mountain near Lake Louise. The first section of the horse trail runs through a beautiful forest and allowed me some time to get familiar to Real, a beginner horse. The second part of the trail joins the ordinary hiking trail. The views are just stunning! Thanks a lot... More

We did the 5 hour ride to the Plain of Six Glaciers via the Highline trail on the way there and the lower trail on the way back. The horses were very nicely matched to the riders and easy to handle. On the highline trail, we got glimpses of the lake and chateau. We quickly went by Lake Agnes so... More

The most beautiful scenery of my life, with great wranglers and great horses. I don't know if any other horsepacking trip can ever live up to this one. Oh, pack lots of mosquito repellant. We did and were glad of it.

We originally booked the Lake Agnes 2 hour ride, but that morning changed to the 4 hour Plain of Six Glaciers...it was the best decision of our trip. Other than cold and rainy weather, we could not have imagined a better time. The trail is a bit rough, but you would never know it on the horses and they handled... More
