Beautiful location - cannot believe there is a hotel here

This gem of a lake is one of a kind. It was so disappointing to see the fairmont over looking this beautiful natural wonder. Was disgusted to see this.

We stopped in the lounge for a snack and a drink during our visit to Lake Louise. The hotel is incredibly beautiful, with great views of the Lake from the lounge.

Location, Location, Location... need I say more. We did not stay here... we stayed at the Post and are happy we did. The Chateau is a bit of a scene... A tad much for the middle of a National Park. I'm happy we visited and dined here but thrilled we stayed at the Post instead.

Still great views, great scenery and loved walking and playing in the snow. Service and shuttles provided by the hotel were all good also. Now for the bad parts. Rooms are just average, great views of lake louise but the rooms themselves are nothing special. Way overpriced at $690 a night. Had the worst service ever at the red poppy... More

I always have a great time at the Chateau. The staff are caring and really make you feel welcomed. The food is divine and surroundings are lovely. Only gave 4 stars because I feel the pool area could be upgraded. It's a bit dated and small.

Service was excellent! Grounds were well kept. Food was great. Really no complaints at all. Best stay at a hotel ever!

We did not stay at the Hotel, we opted for the Moraine Lake Lodge however we spent an entire afternoon at this Hotel, we sat on the outdoor verandah and ate some amazing food, had some drinks and then strolled around the lake and had a Canoe ride. The hotel is beautiful, we strolled through the many shops inside the... More

This lake has a peacefulness that bestills the heart. The vastness of mountains was everything i expected it to be and more. And the Fairmont, like a gem on a ring.

Stayed here for our first anniversary and when we checked in to our room, we received a complementary champagne from hotel manager. Outstanding setting, attentive staff. If you want to stay here just stay at Fairmont Gold. It worth every penny

This is a classic Canadian Hotel. Chateau style and enormous. Just a few hour in the area is not enough. Boats, trails, horseback riding, its all here.
