Stunning views! Love the open gondola ride! Plus we got to glide right over a Grizzly Bear! Epic! We ran into quite a lot of people who also spotted Grizzly Bears on the Lake Louise Gondola ride. Must see!

My friend and I aren't skiers but we wanted to get some sightseeing in so we decided to ride the Lake Louise gondola. We got a 50% off coupon from Groupon which was great because it's not worth the full price. $29 just to take the gondola (which is used to take skiers to the top so your view can... More

This was our first time trip of 2015 to Lake Louise Gondola, well, after a while anyway. The location itself is beautiful. From the parking spot you can see overall area of the Lodge. This view sends your senses to relaxation mode right away. Price wise, Gondola lift, not bad, saying that there is an option of buying a ticket... More

We went here with our family while traveling I the summer. After researching our gondola options we decided on the Lake Louise Gondola. It had the best price of the three (Banff and Jasper being the other two) and more amenities. Your ride includes breakfast or lunch at the lodge. We had breakfast and it was a simple buffet, but... Although I did not see a bear, because in July 2015 it was way too warm for that. But the view of the surrounding panorama is still absolutely breathtaking - no matter if winter or summer (been there in winter for skiing as well). I would like to recommend the Kicking Horse Trail for the summer time. You can access... More

The gondola or chair lift was really exciting as we saw grizzly bear with cubs wandering across the meadow beneath. The day was reasonably warm but we played snow balls when we got to our stop at the top. Great views of Lake Louise & the mountains surrounding it

You definitley should take the gondola ride up the mountain because the vistas are incredible. The clouds are enormous the trees are grand and the silence is serene. We were told to look out for bears. No bears so keep your eyes heavenward rather than looking at the ground for bears. The view is better if you look up at those... More

Even if you don't ski or snow board, I think it's worth taking the gondola up to the mountains. The view going up is incredible and once you are on top of the mountain, the view is even better. There are some viewing points where you can take amazing photos and just take in the fresh air. The ride is... More

My in-laws always wanted to see Lake Louise and even though they don't like heights, we convinced them to get on one of the enclosed gondolas so they could see the lake from a distance. They were a little nervous at first, but the views were so impressive that could not have been happier about taking the ride.
