I really felt like only giving it a poor rating, but the views on a good day are quite spectacular. Gondola rides was very expensive and the included food is quite ordinary. Some of our traveling party chose to eat the cafeteria-style food at the base and thought the food was alright. We decided to eat on the veranda at... More

We got a deal on travelzoo, so was quite a good price, I am not sure we would have paid full price. The view from the gondola is pretty amazing even on a cloudy day, however once you are up the top there isn't anything to do up there - just take a few photos in the cold and go... More

This was our first trip to Lake Louise since we quit skiing. The ride to the top on the gondola was bittersweet. A bit bitter since we weren't going to ski down but the view was beautiful and the staff gave us special expedited pedestrian access. Well worth the money for view junkies like us!

Absolutely beautiful. Dig around for a coupon or Groupon and MAKE THIS TRIP! A single pass allows two round trips on the 14 minute ride... and you can stay on the top as long as you like. The gondola runs nearly 1/2 mile and the peak is at 6,850 feet!!! The view during the ride and at the top is... More

We had heard that the gondola usually provided sightings of bears on most days and we were not disappointed, we saw a grizzly bear going in both directions. There is a choice of gondola or chair lift, when we went in the summer they were running up to the mid station, there is another lift that goes further up the... More

This Gondola is used by skiers in the winter, but turned into a wonderful ride and view in the summer. the views are fantastic and the lunch in the mountain air is delightful. Do it at least once. If you ski you must do this in the summer because it seems so different without the snow. We love it winter... More

This ride up the mountainside and to the restaurant is worth the money. Have a nice lunch and enjoy the mountain range.

So....we jumped on a living social deal, as we live fairly close and had not done this gondola. A few things to note: - this is right at the Lake Louis ski hill - go weekday to avoid skier line-ups - this is a ski gondola in the winter - so..you look a little silly going up in your shoes... More

We chose to do this one instead of Banff as apparently you have more chance of seeing bears. We did see one brown bear and it was great to see it in the wild but I guess we were at the end of their season before hibernation so not many around. The view across to Lake Loiuse was gorgeous!

After a strenuous morning hike we took the Gondola ride to have a little rest! Beautiful views, of course, and an enjoyable Nature Center at the top.
