We bought tickets for the gondola ride and lunch. We took the enclosed gondola on the ascent and were enthralled by the wonderful views from the top. Spent a long time taking photos and breathing in the pure fresh air. Met new friends as we enjoyed the scenery. Took the open seat on the descent so that we could see... More

The gondola was great! You have a choice of an enclosed or open air car. Go with open air. You will feel like you're flying, although slowly. Great views.

The ride up on the chair lifts was easy, took about 15mins and felt quite safe. Although the we didn't see any bears only squirrels it was a great way to see the whole of Banff NP at our leisure. The staff were friendly and happy to answer questions and take photos for you. A majestic view from the top.

The open or closed gondolas (your choice) take you up a ski mountain opposite Lake Louise. At the top, you have amazing views of Lake Louise and the surrounding mountains and glaciers. The interpretative center at the top has stuffed animals from the area with interesting information about them. The center is a great stop for kids.

A terrific ride up 2600 metres either on an enclosed or open gondola Stunning views...sadly no grizzly bears. Fantastic interpretive centre with comprehensive explanations of all the various animals in the national parks. Could see all the way over to Lake Louis and the famous hotel!!Highly recommended.

We had the enclosed gondola. For me the price was a bit too expensive for the gondola ride. Since it is a once in a lifetime opportunity it is worthwhile doing it. Views are great from the top.

We were on Super Vacation tour. This was one of the program. The gondola ride it self was not special, but the view from the top was spectacular.

It was nice to walk in snow but the view isn't special. The ride itself wasn't very exciting. Probably won't dot it again.

Suppose to be the best place to spot a grizzly. We were not that lucky but there had been two spotted on the day we were there. We did get to see his prints in the snow! You hike several trails once the snow melts.

The views are spectacular, changing quickly with the cloud formations and weather. Could have had some seats when you get out at the top, to enjoy the views for non-skiers.
