We bought the combination ticket which included the gondola ride and lunch buffet. We ate lunch first. We were impressed with the quality and the variety of dishes on the buffet. After a relaxing lunch we walked down to the lift area. Since it was a chilly day with new snow we opted to ride the gondola car versus an... More

Amazing!! Well worth the $$ and if you are feeling reasonably fit then try the kicking horse trail... 20 min + hike but the views are worth the effort. Suggestion - get there early in the morning (beat the rush). So in 2 words Do It.

My wife and I really enjoyed this couple hours excursion which is close to Lake Louise---and affords a very high up look at all of the surrounding mountain peaks--with a panoramic on site map that shows the name and elevation of each of many mountains. The trip up there is on a ski lift with a comfortable leather seat---and you... More

We had the meal then gondola ride. The meal to be honest was not worth it, cold food (should have been hot) and not very tasty. My advice would be to skip that and get on the gondola and spend more time at the top, the views are stunning. My wife is not very good with heights but she managed... More

We rode on an open gondola but for the fainthearted there are closed ones too. Your choice. Long ride up and within a short walk there is an interpretive centre which is very interesting.

There are three trails above the gondola drop off that are worth considering if you want a little more than is offered to most by this attraction. These are accessed through a people friendly gate just north of the lift drop-off and are maintained and monitored for safety. We took the easiest which is called the westward leading Kicking Horse... More

A very gentle and tranquil way to see the mountains and lake louise. Take the open chair rather than closed gondola. Great views of the mountains. We bought a voucher with groupon which was excellent - look for it!!

The Lake Louise Gondola was a blast. It was soooooo peaceful and the views of the mountains are breath taking. You could see the Fairmont Lake louise hotel from the top of the gondola. It is mountains forever. A must see if you are going through the rockie mountains in Alberta. For those who are more adventurous there are also... More

A beautiful view from the top a great way to see the mountains from this perspective without a long hike.

My family just back from visiting Lake Louise, Banff National Park. We also took Gondola which was a very lovely memory for us. Strongly recommend for anyone to try and I believe you will love and come back again.
