It's a beautiful and quiet place to visit though. There's a trail around the lake to see a different views. Overall, it worth the visit

We arrived at the gondola at about 11am (beginning of August) and it was not busy. We were asked if we wanted to make a combo with breakfast, because we didn't had breakfast yet we did. What a good decision! The breakfast buffet (all you can eat) is great and contained eggs, hash browns, bacon etc. etc. For just 3... More

There advertising says it is the best opportunity to see a bear - and we did - a grizzly from the ride. The ride to the top gives you the option of an open bench chair or an enclosed gondola - go the chair weather permitting. There are plenty of walks at the top as well as a restaurant. They... More

Looking across the valley to Lake Louise was wonderful . I'm afraid of heights , so the chairlift was quite an experience on it's own . The view of the Rockies and the Bow valley are fabulous . We didn't attempt any hiking , we were satisfied with the view from the lookout . It goes without saying to check... More

Contrary to my first thoughts, this attraction was on the opposite side of the freeway from Lake Louise, but that makes total sense when you look at the pictures. We arrived at 8:30, thinking it would be quiet but a tour bus had just arrived, so the breakfast buffet was over run with a large group. They quickly ran out... More

The most incredible views from the ride up and the view point at the top of the ride. Take a chair, not a gondola of the weather is good! Gets you much closer to the surrounding nature.

We went on the Gondola first thing on a Sunday morning. We decided to get the breakfast buffet as well as it was only $3 extra a person - wasn't bad at all. It wasn't very busy on the Gondola when they first opened but as we were coming back down it started to get full. There were 5 of... More

We got special 2 for 1 adult travelzoo coupons. Made the price more reasonable. Managed to see a grizzly bear on the chair lift. Enjoyed our time there.

We took our 8 & 5 year old up and enjoyed it as a family. You have the choice between an open ski lift or a closed gondola. The 5 year old went in the closed and the 8 year old in the open with my husband and me trading places/kids on the return trip. I didn't feel comfortable with... More

We opted to buy tickets for the gondola with the option of a buffet lunch added on, I can honestly say that even thought his was only $7 extra it wasn't worth it; as the food was scarce and not the best. The trip up the mountain was really nice as we decided to go for one of the open... More
