We did not see any bears but had a great time looking at the views. You can take 2 full trips on the ski chairs or gondolas. We went up once and looked around, ate lunch and then went up again. The wild life center at the top was great for kids. There are things to touch, pictures to color,... More

I saw two grizzly bears -- one on the way to the top of the mountain and one of the way down. Made my day. Oh...you also get a spectacular view of Lake Louise. I paid for the gondola ride and the breakfast buffet. The gondola ride took about 15 minutes each way. The view from the top was excellent... More

We went on the gondola in hope of seeing a grizzly bear ... And we saw three! One on the way up that was fairly close, and two off in the distance on the way down. Keep your eyes on the open patches which gave the newer, more nutritious roots that the bears go after. We bought the lunch package,... More

This is an absolute must when you are in lake Louise. The views are spectacular, especially if you love to take pictures. We didn't see any bears but saw other wildlife on our way down.

We bought a combo ticket which included buffet lunch., it also allowed 2 journeys up the cable car. Look for the $5.00 discount coupons in lots of brochures, up to 4 persons per coupon. Walks at the top allow more views and a short walk to the veranda café is worthwhile. Come down for lunch surprising good value, eat what... More

So first off, if you bundle it its $3 for buffet breakfast or $8 for lunch. We did lunch and the Alberta beef was great, lovely mashed potatoes, and the caesar was amazing (shaved Parmesan to add yourself). Lots of great options. The ride itself is lovely (12 minutes), and you can go up and down twice if you're inclined.... More

Good price for the ticket in comparison to other gondolas in the Rockies. Long ride to the top and fantastic views during and after the journey. Interpretive centre at the top is very interesting and informative. Grizzly bear sighting on the way down made the ride even better!

Take the gondola or one of the chairlifts up, walk down to the whitehorn bistro ( they even drive handycaped people down and up) stay and look around the Interpretive Center. Very good made indeed. Then go upstairs to the restaurant, sit on the patio, have a meal or just salad and - just see the amazing view over to... More

Ride up and down was quite fun, and we had a chance to walk around the top and see everything at 360 degrees. There was a chilly wind, but hey! if that is the worst, we can take it! Recommend!

We took the Gormet Gondala option, which included a $25 voucher at the Resturant, which was reasonably priced, and was very pleased indeed. It is a lovely ride to the top, which we saw multiple grizzly bears (1 going up & 2 coming down). The meal we fantastic (spanish seafood rice) and had one of the most amazing views ever.... More
