Wow we had been to Banff before but did not know about the falls, so it was a great surprise and well worth the drive around to see the views of it from the river.

Plenty of parking and groomed walkway make for a nice stop to grab some photos of the frozen falls, with snow-capped mountains in the distance.

The falls were not entirely frozen over. It was different to see it frozen. We were there when it was around minus 7 Celsius, but it felt colder.
