Lovely walk along the river from the end of Banff Avenue (cross the River at the end of Banff Avenue and turn left). Walk way undulates with some steps, giving low and higher level views of the falls. We spotted Elk in woodland next to the River. Good photo points for the Falls.

Nice for a little walk in the morning or afternoon. Not super exciting but a nice view to the Banff Springs hotel and to the bow falls.

A landmark in Banff. Hiked along the riverside, but it closed in the early spring due to the ice break up.

Why? Because there's a few steps with snow on. Truly a country which treats everyone as if they... More

What a lovely walk. Views and scenery are what Banff is about. Falls were frozen making for great photos.

It was lovely to just stand there and take in the view. Great place to have a picnic and just take in the peaceful surroundings.
