An amazing must see stop while in Banff, Alberta! This stop has stairs to view from the top of the falls as well as at the base. While on horseback or simply from the edge, this is a beautiful scenic stop!

The path getting you to this amazing place is really nice and once you get to the falls, they appear to you beautifully. With the mountains all around, that is a breathtaking sight, so I would recommend it to anyone who likes nature/landscapes!

Lovely day horse riding and fishing along the river spotting elk along the way. No fish tough but plenty of other wildlife

A small waterfall but it has lots of water going over it. Very nice area for a walk and view is terrific.

Beautiful waterfall. Not too crowded. It was a bit hazy from the Washington forest fires, but this didn't obstruct the views. Ample parking and plenty of benches. Very much worth a lunch trip.

Since the smoke haze covered the area, we didn't want to do a strenuous hike but we wanted to be outdoors. We had a wonderful afternoon walking to the falls, around the gardens at Park Canada and then had coffee in the Banff Fairmount Hotel.

This was a great starter hike for us, coming from sea level in Houston. Even though we had a rainy day, the scenery was wonderful and the hike fairly/relatively easy.

Parallels highhway 1 but is a bit slower and more scenic. Provides more opportunity to see wildlife though we didn't see any on our drive.

When we first saw the falls we thought they were not very big but as you climb the walkway you find that they go back further than you can see from where the carpark is, so if you have the time it's worth taking the walk up the steps to enjoy the scenery.
