This is a nice place to stop off to hang out for about half an hour or less. Its shortly before the Banff Springs Hotel. Its a rocky beach-like terrain aside the bow river. I actually didn't mean to go to Bow Falls, but I meant to find a place to sit down and eat and I happened to fall... more

Directly behind the Banff Springs Hotel the river flows over Bow Falls. Access is very easy as the base of the falls are right next to the car park. Here you can see the final cascade which is the most dramatic but for a view of the full falls you need to go to Surprise Corner on the other side... more
