It was our first time visiting Bow Falls in the winter and we probably won't do it again. Although still beautiful it is much more grand in the summertime. Also we didn't realize that all the trails, even the paved one right beside the falls, are closed off in the winter with no access. This is a lovely location but... More

This usually our first stop. It's difficult to do the entire hike if you have mobility issues, but it's lovely just to sit and bring few sandwiches. It's just a short walk to watch the falls. Just a beautiful view.

The last time I was at Bow Falls was over 25 years ago. As this was my 6 month old daughter's first trip to the mountains my wife and I decided to take her to the falls today. We enjoyed a very quiet viewpoint as we visited midweek in the off season. We decided to walk the trail which begins... More

It was the perfect backdrop for our vows and made for a beautiful and memorable day. Plenty of picture opportunities and a great walk through the woods to The Banff Springs Hotel.

Bow Falls is a great place...pretty and lots of paths to walk on. If you're lucky, you'll see some wildlife. You can walk to the golf course, up to the Banff Springs Hotel or to the pedestrian bridge to cross the river. Great walk!

We took the trail from the lower car park and the trail is pretty amazing. You start by the lazy river but as you are walking the water is gathering momentum ending in the most amazing waterfall. The noise and power of the water takes your breath away. In the summer you can take boat rides and you can drive... More

Drove to this spot for a quick look. Parking lot on the small size but the falls are beautiful. Most of the trails are closed this time of year so couldn't go up top but from below they are nice. Great spot for some nice photos.

When you are in Banff, everything is just do beautiful, whether it is just walking down the street and enjoying the amazing scenery or just sight seeing the endless beauty of this town. The Bow falls just add another unforgettable memory to cherish. A must see.

We went in the winter so the trail was closed. The falls are pretty and so is the surrounding view. It only took about 15 minutes to see it all.

Beautiful vista very close to downtown and the Banff Hotel. It is always soothing and relaxing to watch a waterfall and this is no disappointment.
