Me and my friends went on the Johnston Canyon Ice walk tour. When we booked we had a really nice receptionist Elle, and she was super helpful. The walk was amazing and the scenery was beautiful, we also had a great tour guide Hugh, he helped us with everything we needed, was knowledgable, and just made the evening better with... More

First time on snowshoes for both my husband and myself - we had a blast (and are now wanting to buy some to take ourselves out for adventures!). Our guide, Jordan, was full of energy and bad jokes, and kept the day moving with lots of laughter. We didn't feel the fee was unreasonable at all - $66/person included pick... More

Our tour guide is Jeff - he is a very experienced guide who is knowledge and dedicated. He carries a big bag along the whole way of his snowshoeing tour. And at the end of the canyon, he started to make maple candies for everyone in the snow. It is a very unique experience and we all love it!

This is the worst humanize i have taken part before. The tour operator is not responsible enough to send the client's correct information to the guide and cause we missed the night tour which occur a big regret to all of us. After we discovered that we were missed by the tour guide we called the operator to ask for... More

Grotto Ice walk. I booked this days in advance. They cancelled last minute after 7pm the night before the trip. Therefore I had no chance of making any other arrangements. If you're coming to Banff and want something to actually happen. Don't book with these guys also avoid booking through banff adventures who book for these guys. Company couldn't give... More

I was in my winter vacation in Banff, and joined group Banff tour, ice walks and discover Banff and its wildlife. I learned a lot about history and wildlife in Banff through out our guide. Coincidence, She was our tour guide on each trip eventhough the tours were 9 days apart. Her name was Becky! She was awesome and professional.... More

I booked my husband and I for the 1.30PM ice walk. I noticed someone said it's a ripoff to pay $66 for the tour. However, with us not having been in the snow for awhile, it was definitely worthwhile to pay even though anyone can go to the canyon for free and at their own risk. We were provided with... More

What a great experience. Views can be slightly limited, but what you do see at night is magical. The guide had us turn off our head lamps and look up at the night sky. BREATHTAKING and makes you not miss the city one bit. The walk is well done and the ice cleats help big time. The guide who was... More

Where to begin? Maybe at the $66 each a person. Its open to the public and FREE!!!. So why are we paying so much? Maybe $30 for a 1/4 cup of hot chocolate and $30 for a biscuit and then $6 for fuel?. You can hire a car for $55 for the day and drive there youself and do the... More

Lake Louise is a must see. We had a lovely tour guide called Neil who was punctual, friendly and full of lots of interesting information about the area. Sadly we saw no wildlife but had a great time snow shoeing and walking round Lake Louise. Highly recommend.
