My wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience. We chose 'Nature in Focus' based on the kind of hikes they offered and the reviews on TripAdvisor. So, first I have to say 'thank you' to all those other reviews out there! While I can't speak to what other hiking companies offer, I will say: 'Nature in Focus' has... More

We almost always hire a private guide when hiking. We like to get off the beaten path and immerse ourselves in the natural splendor. We spent the day with our guides, Paul and Eva. They took us through the Sunshine meadows and then to the top of a mountain! The entire journey, which took the better part of the day,... More

So glad I read the TripAdvisor reviews before coming out to Canada and pre booked a hike with Paul and Eva. Eva guided us around the 3 lakes, a 5 mile hike, a fantastic effort by our 8 year old son. Eva was such a beautiful person that made the hike personal to us and showed us things we would... More

We enjoyed our hike with Paul and Eva very much. They were very informative about the area and history. We asked for an out of the way hike that would be more difficult to do on our own. They took us to Stanley glacier where we had a beautiful morning hike. Unlike some of the more popular hikes we took... More

Snowshoeing with Paul and Eva was a truly amazing experience!!! I simply have no words to describe how much nature, adventure and fun I had with them! They guided me in a customized tour that was awesome! Paul and Eva guided me in the Sunshine Meadow for a 3-hour hiking in the snow mountain wilderness. "Nature in focus" is definitely... More

We do a big snowshoe trip every year -- we've hiked in areas around Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe, and all over Colorado including Aspen and Breckenridge. This March we traveled to Canada and did a 3-hour snowshoe hike on the Continental Divide with Eva and Paul. What a great experience! They customized our hike based on our ability. (We said,... Paul and Eva treated our family to a magical afternoon! We were well prepared - dressed in layers for the chilly but sunny alberta/bc weather. We embarked at the continental divide marker, crossed highway 93 and wended our way through the trees on deep, untrodden and soft snow. Paul is passionate about the flora, fauna and history of the region... More

Paul is an outgoing, friendly Canadian who is extremely knowledgable about the mountains and their wildlife. We had a great day's hike with him and learned alot. He tailoured the hike to our abilities which made the day so much more enjoyable. Orginally we planned to hike near Moraine Lake but due to access restrictions imposed by the National Park... More

Eva guided my husband and I on a beautiful and informative loop hike to the Plain of 6 Glaciers. The route was much more scenic and less crowded than the standard out and back route. She was very patient with us, hiking as slowly as we needed and taking breaks as often as we needed. She exceeded our expectations with... More

It's taken a while to get round to writing this - apologies. We were meant to do a day's walking with Paul in late June. Unfortunately the flooding at that time caused chaos, and we were unable to get to Banff. Paul was very understanding - in fact far more knowledgeable about the local road problems that had occurred than... More
