I went the Wild Bill's for dinner. It wasn't our first choice. Couple other restaurants we wanted to go to, had long waiting times, so we ended up at Bill's. We both had soups and steaks. The food was average, as was the service. Next time we would rather wait at another restaurant, if we had to.

We came down from Saskatchewan for a weekend, and trust me when I say Saskatchewan girls know how to party country style. We obviously loved it here, the staff was great and the music had us dancing all night. There was a live band who we loved as well. We even somehow ended up back for Saturday, two nights in... More

Several restaurants in Banff are on the second floor overlooking the town. This has a western feel and all the staff was great. There is a large room for parties, a large bar area that looked like fun and the main room where we ate. The band was warming up for a party later that night and they sounded fantastic.... More

Came for dinner on a weekday during the high tourist season. Place was half empty, which made me wonder. Tall, skinny guy with blonde hair tied in a bun greeted us. We were a party of 5 and asked if we could get a table by the window. He responded by saying, that's not gonna happen. Presume that meant there... More

Our stagette party tried getting into here only to be turned away by the guy collecting the $5 admission. He told the bride and bridesmaid not to think they were getting in free because they were pretty - even though both ladies had their $5 firmly in hand. He then called around and had us banned from all the bars... More

Not a massive choice but good all the same. Service was good, friendly with prices to suit any budget. Worth a visit if you are in town.

It was OK but empty but we were there in low season so its no fault of the bar. I would say in high season it would be a great night. The food was OK, not the best meal we had though. Nice service from waiter

After learning about Bill Peyton on the parkway, I wanted o check out his namesake. We had the "burned bits" appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. We had the elk burger and the pulled beef, and both were great. Nice place overlooking Banff Ave with good people watching. Live bands at night.

Had a bite to eat for dinner one evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a Sunday and probably not as wild as a Friday or Saturday night, but the bull riding machine was still an attraction to watch while eating. The elk burger was very tasty, as was the salmon. The beer and wine selection was limited but very... More

First restaurant we ate at upon our arrival in Banff. Walked up the steps and wasn't sure about what the food would be like at this place. It is definitely a bar atmosphere and I'm sure late evening and weekends it is rowdy. But we stayed for dinner and the food was very good. Extremely pleasant waiter and staff. Two... More
