Our stagette party tried getting into here only to be turned away by the guy collecting the $5 admission. He told the bride and bridesmaid not to think they were getting in free because they were pretty - even though both ladies had their $5 firmly in hand. He then called around and had us banned from all the bars... More

Not a massive choice but good all the same. Service was good, friendly with prices to suit any budget. Worth a visit if you are in town.

It was OK but empty but we were there in low season so its no fault of the bar. I would say in high season it would be a great night. The food was OK, not the best meal we had though. Nice service from waiter

After learning about Bill Peyton on the parkway, I wanted o check out his namesake. We had the "burned bits" appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. We had the elk burger and the pulled beef, and both were great. Nice place overlooking Banff Ave with good people watching. Live bands at night.

Had a bite to eat for dinner one evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a Sunday and probably not as wild as a Friday or Saturday night, but the bull riding machine was still an attraction to watch while eating. The elk burger was very tasty, as was the salmon. The beer and wine selection was limited but very... More

First restaurant we ate at upon our arrival in Banff. Walked up the steps and wasn't sure about what the food would be like at this place. It is definitely a bar atmosphere and I'm sure late evening and weekends it is rowdy. But we stayed for dinner and the food was very good. Extremely pleasant waiter and staff. Two... More

I recommend the brisket (not sure if I'm spelling this right), but it was delicious! Add a cold beer or fun cocktail while you watch tourists learn to line dance. If you're lucky, you might get to sit on the 6-person patio overlooking downtown.

This was a local's recommendation based on our interest in BBQ. We enjoyed the Wild West appearance and good food - one of us had pulled pork sandwich and other had BBQ sliders - chicken, pork and beef. Portion sizes were ample and prices reasonable. Be sure to check out the very modern restrooms in the other wise rustic place.... More

Wild Bill’s, what can we say. We liked it very much. It was one of the few places where we could hear country music. Once a week there are line dance lessons but we were pretty disappointed that this was NOT on country music. The live music they also had was great. We went to see Savage West and Drew... More

Traveling the world I have been to many estabilshments. This rates as the worst exprience I have ever had. Staff seemed to cater to locals only, would not provide service or seating. We were told tables were taken when they were not. When we complained we were asked to leave by the bartender who obviously had relastionships with some of... More
