The gondola was good fun. We got our ticket on the day and only had to queue for around 10/15 minutes before getting onto the gondola. The trip up is nice, the views are good and clear to see for all in the pod. The walkway at the top is great, lots of fantastic views and plenty of viewing points.... More

We hiked up the mountain which provided the same views for no $$$ and it felt like we earned it. I understand that Brewster needs to pay for the cost of running but it just seemed extortionate considering the amount of people doing it. The hike is worth it, and it doesn't take 2-4 hours... We were relatively fit and... More

Was a good experience, family and pet-friendly, takes about two-hours, and the views were incredible. Really a must-do in Banff.

I went there with a local friend so it was free. It was a great experience but very very very freezing. Freezing was a great part of the fun if you are ready for it. I had a coffee at the highest Starbuck in the world and once of top we finished our coffee and enjoyed the amazing view and... More

Save on time and your knees by taking the gondola instead of hiking up (and down) Sulphur Mountain. Each gondola holds four adults, which is cozy but every one gets a good view out the windows. This was a nice change since the last cable car I rode in (in Dubrovnik, Croatia) fit 30+ people who were all competing to... More

The gondola was a great hit with our kids. The views from the top are fabulous! The ride in the gondola is smooth with great views.

As part of our Rocky Mountaineer experience, we took the gondola to the top of Sulfur Mountain. Because we were with a tour group, our tickets were already purchased and we were taken to the beginning of the cue (although the line didn't seem too long in any case on this day). The ride up was enjoyable and the view... More

I've been around half the world (the rest will come) and can say that the view from the top is scandalously breath taking, and the ride in the gondola isn't bad either. Too bad its run by Brewster.

After visiting Lake Louise my husband and I travelled on to Banff. We decided on a whim to ride the gondolas. We were so happy we did, the views were absolutely breathtaking. Granted it was a beautiful summers day, so the sun glistening on the hills probably added to the beauty. For those that love scenery, this is a must.... More

The gondola ride to the top of the Rockies was outstanding and well worth a visit, bring a camera and pray for clear views. It was very cold (-20C) when I visited, but clear and so I had a chance to walk to the lookouts and take great photos of the roof of Alberta. The gondola was fast and there... More
