I'm scared of heights but the idea of the view made me do it...so glad I did, it is 360 brilliance. I didn't like the price at first but when I got up there price became irrelevant. The shop inside for food was average, and the toilet area was so bad it was difficult just to walk past. Enjoy a... More

It costs a bit but you won't find better views of Banff and the surrounding mountains than from this gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain. If you want to save some coin and are in excellent shape you can hike to the top. My advice though is spend the money and use the time you save to take... More

Although a bit costly, this is an experience not to be missed! For us, it was remarkable how monochromatic the world looked from the top of the mountain. It had snowed heavily prior to our visit and the trees appeared almost gray and then the white of the mountains was spectacular. The hue of the blue sky was something rarely... More

Overall - A must see for every Banff visitor. You should not miss out on this amazing opportunity to see the Rockies from up above the Sulphur Mountain. Good - This can be done as a self guided tour. This was the very first time My husband and I went on the gondola to the top of the mountain. It was a very nice ride up. The view at the mountain top was definitely breathtaking. It was a little chilly on top but not too bad at the end of October. We were quite lucky as the sky was... More

The view from the ride was amazing. It was a bit rickety because of the wind, but other than that it was beautiful. Seeing the Banff Springs Hotel from the gondola was cool because it looked so small! The store/look out when you get to the very top was my favourite part. You were on mountains, and could see more... More

We decided to do the 5.5km hike up the mountain and it was worth every step up. The hike was well later out but can be a bit hard if your not to fit. Took about 2.5hrs with lots of stops for photos. View from the top was breath taking and we'll worth it. A must do for everyone. The... More

Second time on the gondola - just as nice as the first. Nice ride up, beautiful view other than the snow & clouds. A little cold this time of year so dress warm ' it s worth the visit. Interesting history on the mountain and the view is amazing!! A good day with family.

If you are in town for touristy purposes this is it! I spent two hours up there just taking in the sites and going picture crazy. It was winter and deathly cold up there compared to down below and I had not noticed my hand going numb...needless to say I froze my hand and could not move it properly for... More

Go to the top of the mountain on the cable car for some astounding views around Banff. Once you have seen it, if you return you will want to go up once again. Brilliant. Take the walkway up to the very top. A must see if you go to Banff.
