It's a great day out, good if your tired and don't want to hike the mountain, you can if you wish. Price is some what high. But if your like me and you can't afford to pay then find yourself working for one of the hotels. And you'll get a discount. Otherwise enjoy. I found the trip up to be... More

My friend and I decided to do the Gondola as a last minute activity before leaving Banff and it was well worth it! The Gondola makes for a beautiful ride up and down the mountain. We unfortunately were there when there was smoke from the fires in the U.S so visibility wasn't as great as I would have liked but... More

This must be a great attraction when visibility is good. Unfortunately smoke from forest fires reduced visibility. Still the restaurant at the top was beautiful and the food was very good. There is a boardwalk outside the restaurant that extends quite a way from the restaurant to an observation deck. We were lucky to see 7 mountain goats descend from... More

We enjoyed this gondola ride. At the top there is a walkway to the top of the mountain. It is crowded but fun to hike up. The trail is like a boardwalk along with many steps. The views along the whole way are amazing. Wear walking shoes and enjoy. There are food, drink, gift shops at both the top and... More

Overall, a decent experience. The view from the top was great - so was the walkway and information. The wait to get on the gondola was a bit much, and the waiting in line was also exhausting. This was mainly because the majority of tourists had great difficulty following simple instructions. We didn't want to waste another hour in line,... More

Gondola ride was wonderful. Amazing view! Amazingly incompetent staff at the Panorama restaurant :( Waited for 45 minutes for a table and never actually even received a glass of water. Couldn't imagine what it would have been like if it was busy!

We rode the gondolas on a beautiful winter morning which allowed clear views across the landscape. I'm not much of a fan of heights and at some points nearer the top I wished I hadn't got on...however, the views made my mind wander back to the picture perfect day. When we got to the top (after kissing the ground) we... More

Great trip to the top of Sulfur Mountain. Gondolas are on the small side and trip is a bit pricey, though.
