Pick your day to go up, and if it's nice and clear, you won't regret it! Beautiful views from the top!! Our family really enjoyed this attraction. And don't forget to dress warmly as it can get cold and windy at the top of the mountain. more

Banff Gondola is an okay attraction. It takes about 8 minutes to get to the top. The views are beautiful of course, but that's to be expected. It's almost 6 hours drive from edmonton to banff but I tell you, it's worth the trip. We took the gondola ride to the top of Sulpher Mountain this past March. It was a sunny, crisp morning and the mountains were right in your face.
