GPS Triggered Commentary Tours. Listen to stories, tips and advice for what to see and do on scenic drives throughout Western Canada, Maui and Las Vegas. GyPSy Guide is a small device that you rent by the day and it automatically plays commentary on the best things to see and do as they come into view, through your vehicle stereo. A team of professional tour guides has filled GyPSy Guide with stories about past explorers, where to watch for wildlife and locals advice so you don’t miss any of the best attractions and sightseeing. The audio is recorded by real people and plays as you drive, just like listening to the radio.

Just wanted to let you know this was a great way to see the Rockies. I live in BC and learners so much. It was a great balance of natural and human history information. If this is you first trip to Canada, get it. It will make you trip that much more memorable.

We absolutely loved our GyPSy guides for our hire car self-drive tour in Canada! We drove from Vancouver to Banff (quite a drive!), and then within Vancouver, Banff, Lake Louise and the Icefields Parkway, and we couldn't have done it without our guide! We would have missed so much. The commentary was spot on- it felt like the guide was... More

We really enjoyed having downloaded Gypsy Guide for our recent trip to Banff. We didn't have it downloaded properly for the trip from Calgary airport to Banff, but did figure out how to download it for the Banff Town tour as well as the Banff to Lake Louise tour. We wouldn't have found all the hidden spots without it. We... More

I downloaded the free Calgary to Banff tour and purchased the Banff town, icefields parkway and Banff/Lake Louise/Yoho versions for my Android. They were all excellent. The narrator provided directions, tips and recommendations, local flavor and interesting educational tidbits. I usually have my nose in a guidebook reading aloud while my husband drives. I was able to sit back, listen... More

We used Gypsy Guide on our driving trip from Calgary to Vancouver. There were several apps to download for each segment of the Transcanada Highway, but it covered the entire 1000 km of our trip. The drive is pretty amazing to begin with, but the commentary made it even better. Not only did it have cool information about the various... More

I am so glad I discovered GyPSy Guides on TripAdvisor! We bought the Icefields Parkway guide first and enjoyed it so much we also purchased the Lake Louise/Yoho guide. These guides were easy to purchase for our Iphone and follow your location using GPS so they are always describing the area you are visiting, with different commentaries in each direction.... More

The first thing we did when we arrived at Calgary Airport was to pick up our GyPSy and the last thing we did at Vancouver Airport 3 weeks later was to drop it back off, this is an amazing piece of technology, it told us everything you would want to know from Calgary to Vancouver via Whistler and Vancouver Island... I am technologically challenged when it comes to apps and smart phones but even I found it very easy to both purchase and use the Gypsy Guide apps. I downloaded the Calgary to Baff free guide, and for under $20AUD purchased the Banff/Lake Louse/Yoho, Jasper, Banff Town Site and Icefields Parkway apps. We used the Gypsy guides throughout out 8... Read about this app on iTunes, downloaded it. My husband and I listened to it all the way from Calgary to Banff. We enjoyed learning the history of the early and the directions were very accurate. I recommend this app to everyone I know headed up to Banff!

We downloaded to our iPad - used it daily to explore Banff and Jasper National Parks. Would not have enjoyed our trip as much without it
