Listen to stories, tips and advice for what to see and do on scenic drives throughout Western Canada, Maui and Las Vegas. GyPSy Guide is a small device that you rent by the day and it automatically plays commentary on the best things to see and do as they come into view, through your vehicle stereo. A team of professional tour guides has filled GyPSy Guide with stories about past explorers, where to watch for wildlife and locals advice so you don’t miss any of the best attractions and sightseeing. The audio is recorded by real people and plays as you drive, just like listening to the radio. « less

This little jewel is an awesome tool! We picked our unit up at the airport in Vancouver, BC and it guided our every step from there to Banff, Alberta. The unit immediately began giving out points of interest, places to see, even telling us the level of difficulty for interesting hikes along the way. There were so many things we... More

Just came back from the Rockies and was genuinely very impressed by this system. Most things let you down in some way but this is simply excellent. Can encourage anyone driving the Rockies to take the time to pick one of these up. The Satellite based set-up means you get info at the best time you could.

My husband and I rented the GYPDY guide for the day. We typically miss a great picture because we're hesitant to just pull over. This guide was perfect, didn't talk too much, gave real time historical facts about the scenery and mountains as you pass. We ended up on a back road and saw experienced the bugling of some amazing... More

My mom and I rented the GYPSY for two days. We used it for the Icefields Parkway Drive and also did the Yoho and Kootenay tours on it as well. It provides a ton of useful and interesting knowledge, facts, and history about everything around you. You don't have to worry about getting lost, it tells you about major turnoffs... More

i am truly glad that i have come across the Gypsy Guide before my recent Banff national park trip with my family. My worries of getting lost in the wild were instantly eliminated because of this excellent and smart program. Instead of renting the gypsy device (which can be quite costly), i simply downloaded the several tours of the Gypsy... More

I just read several of the Gypsy Guide reviews. While I cannot add much more detail, I would HIGHLY recommend it as an enhancement to your travel from Calgary to Banff to Lake Louise and up the Icefields Parkway. We downloaded the app onto our iPhone (lots cheaper) and plugged it into the car speakers so it was easy to... More

We pre booked this for a week and collected from the info desk at calgary airport to go into a rental we picked up from airport. At the desk was a lady returning hers from usage and she was telling us how good she found it to be. After using it for a week i fully agree. it was a... More

We drove from Banff to the Columbia Icefields with the gypsy guide, and really appreciated his help! We learned so much about the landscape, the history, the current efforts to preserve the forest that we felt entertained the entire way! The Gypsy offers info about turnouts, what you will see, and always with enough time to react. On the return... More

Friends who had been to Banff/Jasper recommended taking a formal tour because of all the additional commentary provided by the guides. We wanted more flexibility than a formal tour provided. Then we found Gypsy Guide- the perfect solution. While setting our own pace and itinerary, we had a private guide in your tool. We even pursued a few recommendations from... More
