I was expecting the Hot Springs to be a little more rustic and natural, not an actual pool, but it was neat to see the little waterfalls around the hot springs be so hot. The hot springs were refreshed about 15 years ago - and I'm not sure any maintenance has been done since .... Tiles flaking off the pool, ripped rubber lining, missing parts on the showers and the list just goes on and on ..... Add this to indifferent staff, and there certainly is little 'magic' here .... Reading other reviews, I agree that the experience at the Banff Hot Springs would be bad if the place gets very crowded (which would be very easy as this is not a huge pool).
