This is the most unforgettable trip I have had in my life. Every turn brings new and unbelievable scenery, get ready to be baffled every 5 minutes. You really can't miss this! If you like taking lots of pictures, be sure to save some extra time. Me and my boyfriend took about 4 hours to get through the whole road... More

As many reviewers have commented, this is indeed one of the most beautiful drives in the world, and rather easily accessed. National geographic traveler rated it as one of the top 10 (or 20, I can't remember) last year. For those readers that do not reside in northern locations, Jasper has long days in the summer, e.g. in July and... More

Amazing experience and probably won't be there in 50 years time. Great drive there from Banff. Informative driver who took us to glacier. 30 mins time off the bus would have been better than the 15-20 we had. Glad we went. Got some amazing pictures. Tasted pure glacier water. Would recommend this to other visitors to the area. Do have... More

this was an incredible drive, far better than I could have imagined. We took a day and drove from banff up the icefields parkway to the glacier, I think at columbia icefields, where you can walk to the glacier or take the big bus out onto it. The drive itself was stunning, absolutely breathtaking scenery at every turn. The mountains,... More

Icefield parkway situated between Jasper and Lake Louise offers spectacular views and hikes of various lenghts (from several minutes to all day hikes). I recommend to drive this route all day and visit as many attractions (Columbia icefield, athabasca and sumwapta falls, peyto lake, etc...) as possible. Buy full tank prior entering the mountains due to higher mountain price and... More

Spent the whole day driving this from Jasper to Lake Louise. We had to stop so many times because of the gorgeous views.

If you are in Banff, Lake Louise or Jasper you must take the drive along this highway at least once! I would suggest doing the drive on your own. Tour buses are always on schedule and do only limited number of stops. There are infinite points along this highway where you can stop for different activities: picture taking, a hike,... More

If you are in Banff, you ought to do this. It is really scenic with all best things coming together mountains, blue waters, glaciers, wild flowers, wild life, and I could go on. It depends a lot in which season you plan to go to have the kind of views you wish to see. For instance, more glaciers would be... More

It's our first time stepping on Glacier. Look like another planet and highly recommend for anyone to try. The view on the way either close or far is fantastic. I love it.
