We love this drive. The road goes from just north of Lake Louise to Jasper. It offers the most stunning views of the Rockies as you drive between and over them. The only thing I would say to anyone doing the driving is to occasionally look out the front windscreen to keep your passengers happy! As its so easy to... More

Amazing drive with spectacular snow topped mountains, pine forests and turquoise lakes and rivers. We had 2 grizzly bears cross the road in front of us, and saw deer, mountain goats and a young black bear. The drive takes 4 solid hours but you should allow all day to see the sights along the way. Wonderful. More

A must see if you are visiting the Rockies. Beautiful scenery. Only drop off at the Icefields park way Centre for a trip on the Glacier. Don't stay overnight there! More

Since the name of the road is ICEFIELDS PARKWAY, I was expecting a barren road with few trees. I was mistaken --- lots of waterfalls to see, animals, mountain vistas, and forests of magnificent trees. We drove from Lake Louise to Jasper in one day and back which was stenuous, but I am glad we did it! Many sites to... More

We take a leisurely drive through this scenic wonder at least twice a year and we enjoy ourselves immensely everytime! The views of the mountains, waterfalls, lakes, glaciers and wildlife along the way are breathtaking. You can literally stop every ten minutes for a picture perfect moment that belongs in National Geographic. There are numerous hiking trails and campgrounds on... More

This is the nicest and most pleasant drive I've made so far. I cannot get used to the beauty of this parkway and will do it again for sure... hopefully in summer and/or fall! We had a rental car with 4 season tires and being from Quebec, we got a good experience of winter driving. Winter tires are definitely recommended... More

The view from the highway is absolutely stunning. We did just the small portion and definitely coming back to take it all the way from Lake Louise to Jasper. More
