We were here the second week of December and the snow was not really good. There were quite a few bare and thin spots, but still enough areas to ski on and have a good time. There were never any lift lines at all, which was really nice. The eating restaurants on the mountain were ok, but nothing wonderful. And... More

spent a full day skiing here and had a great time.Mid week skiing is the best,no line ups and the slopes to yourself. We stopped at the whitehorn lodge for lunch and had the place to ourselves, had a great table at the window. Both the service and food were also very good.

Looking for good North American skiing for my family (3 kids) in April. Utah, CO and Whistler can be hit-or-miss in mid-late April so we took a chance on Banff area (Sunshine Village & Lake Louise). Wow, it was great. We went the 3rd week in April 2014 and conditions couldn't have been better! We did 2 days at Sunshine... More

This is one of the most spectacular ski resorts that I have visited. Vast terrain of all skill level. Nicest people ever. Great lodge with open tables that you can bring your own meals, warm up and enjoy the scenery!

I must be blessed! We were heading for kicking horse but had to stop the night in Banff because of bad weather, as we turned north into the valley the sun came out and the sky cleared to give us one of the best scenic views on earth. Everybody agrees that the scenery is just jaw dropping and that there... More

It is only Nov.20 2014, but the Lake Louise Ski Resort is open. They are getting ready for the World Cup Ski Race. There are three lifts open and the runs are great for this easily in the season. Staff are very friendly and every aspect from lifts to food are superb.
