We had visited Lake Louise, which is about 5 minutes by car from this ski resort. I was not sure what to expect visiting this place in the summer time, as I heard from a couple people that skied there every winter but never visited in the summer. You take the chair lift up the mountain to a lookout/view point.... More

I visited this resort in June hoping to see some Grizzlies, but no luck. The lodge is a huge log building with a cafeteria and gift shop. There is another building where you are asked to watch a video on grizzle bears, very important info. I rode the gondola and was awed by the view of Lake Louise, the hotel... More

Most of the reviews center around skiing, but we visited Lake Louise Ski Resort during the summer and took the gondola up to the ski lodge where we had a wonderful lunch on the deck with a great view of Lake Louise and the mountains. As you go up the gondola you'll notice a lot of electric fences... that's because... More

Lake Louise was fantastic as a resort with plenty of variation in the level of runs. We had a party of 8 with different abilities and a variety of skiers and snowboarders and there was something for everyone. If you want a single lesson a good tip is to arrange to go on the first bus as you get a... More

Great ski mountain with the big vertical drop that only the Rockies can create. Skiing during Spring Break as a great time with sunshine and awesome views. We will definitely return to ski again another year.

We dropped by to take a ride up the mountain and view Lake Louise in all it's glory. We saw a real life Grizzly with two cubs. The resort is impressive even without snow!!

Lake Louise ski resort is well run with world class facilities and an international staff. And it is spectacular, terrifying and revitalizing. I skied on both sides of the mountain. It was way beyond my skill level but when I stopped to just look over to the Chateau Lake Louise it was worth every effort. The air is thin at... More

Yes great skiing, well prepared runs, easy access lifts, etc but what really sets this above the competition is the staff. We had 2 private instructors booked (one for us and I be for the kids who were first timers) and both were excellent (Kyle and Laura). Hiring the gear was simple and plenty of help and advice on fitting.... More

Aside from the great resort and ski hill, I found all the staff at every level to be very professional, friendly and helpful. This also applies to their "ski friend" programme. They were awesome. I can say from experience at another ski hill where I found the staff to have less than a "sunny" disposition, that attitude has a big... More

We skied at both Sunshine and Lake Louise. Sunshine was great and fun (gondola up to the hill was novel), but we preferred LL: more snow, softer snow, shorter lineups, longer runs and absolutely amazing views the whole way down the mountain (no matter what side you ski down)! We booked our hotel and ski package together through (skibig3) so... More
