If you're travelling in the area, this resort seemed, to us, to have everything. Great design for an alpine 'feel', plenty of things to do, and access to higher levels by chairlift, from which we did see bears (in the distance).... check out Pylon 13 going up for them - they may still be there! Excellent views from the summit... More

Couldn't find this at first but was given directions from someone at Lake Louise, it's the other side if the highway. Throw in buffet lunch or breakfast with free ground squirrel viewings for few more $s and is very good value. Great ride up the gondola with terrified husband and chilled out kids, awesome views from the top. Had heard... More

We hit the best day every in the spring, warm, sunny and no wind! Plus 12 and the skiing was fantastic We joined up with the free Ski Friends and that made our day even more enjoyable, we would not have explored the are if it was not for our" ski friend" whose name was George! George was fantastic and... More

We got a late start and decided to take a ride up the ski lift to have lunch. This turned out to be a very pleasant trip. Beautiful views from the top. Good food.

When I was at the Lake Louise Ski Resort, I chose the Gondola and Gourmet package, which means you can ride up in the gondola, or open air chair lift, and have lunch at the Whitehorn Bistro for 49.95. Since it was a beautiful day, I sat outside on the patio. It was a fantastic view, and the food was... More

Take the ski lift, choose open style if it nice out. Go around lunch time (before 3:00 pm) and buy the lunch with lift deal. There is nothing like sitting on the deck with a plate of food and a good drink soaking up the view from 6000 ft!

I visited Lake Louise in June and was recommended this, I thought it was a little expensive at first but found it quite worth it! I was able to ride in a gondola and was able to enjoy some amazing views, not only that but we saw bears too! Highly recommend!

Love this place. Been several times and it never disappoints. The snow is always thick, the lines for the lifts are very small, the staff are very helpful and the mountains are beautiful. Never had a bad time here. Once you've skied here you'll never return to Europe. This is gods country. Love it with a capital L.

Adequate coverage for spring skiing on piste but not off piste. Groomed runs down Larch Express was excellent. There was some coverage down the back bowls but inadequate. Upper mountain groomed runs are very firm in the morning but softens throughout the day. Groomed runs at the bottom of the mountain close to the gondola & chair are slushy by... More
