This was our first trip to Lake Louise Ski Resort and unfortunately they were having freak warm weather, rain (in the town AND the mountain), and minimal snow over the last 2 weeks! So conditions were trying, extremely icy on all runs- we searched high and low over the 4 days we were here but unfortunately we just couldn't find... More

We went to the Lake Louise Ski resort for tubing and it was so much fun. The people who worked there were very helpful. It's great because if you aren't in the mood for trudging up a hill you can grab your tube and use the person-moving conveyor belt to take you up the hill. You can also walk it... More

I haven't visited Lake Louise for just over 15 years, but we took our family here this past weekend for a ski trip. The hill is still amazing, with so many runs to choose from, for all levels. There was a decent snow the night before our first day of skiing and well above average temperatures, so it was a... More

At Lake Louise there is definitely a reason why the ratio of skiers to snowboarders is 5 to 1. The mountain is huge and felt there was a lack of maps located throughout the mountain. I often found that I was trying to locate one but none could be found. Perhaps they should supply them in the gondola. Or have... More

Wow, what a great experience for my first Rocky Mountain ski. We had blue sky and moderate temps, no wait at the lifts and an uncrowded Friday ski. Fun lunch mid mountain and après ski at the base. Magnificent experience for all abilities.

This is one of the world's premier ski resorts. It is large, with 10 lifts, including a gondola, a vertical of over 3000 feet and runs as long as 5 miles. Terrain is varied--tremendous variety of intermediate and easier runs and many opportunities for advanced skiers. We were there during the week, with no waits whatsoever for lifts, but were... More

Skied lake Louise today and it was good like the gondola to the top more relaxing then the chair lifts.. Could have had more more snow but can't control that.. Top of the mountain was a little better.. A couple food options.. Nice and dead did not have to wait for any chair lifts that probably the upside of mid... More

huge resort with no crowds and ample lifts! Staff all very pleasant, runs very wells groomed. We stayed at the mountaineer lodge which is 5-10 minutes drive away, good value for the area, where you just want to ski all day and then fall apart in bed! Canadian Rockies are just beautiful but a little chilly, remember your thermals!!

GREAT mountian! No matter which lift you take to the top of either mountain there is a path down for every level of skier/borader, which is really nice and makes for a great day for everyone.
