Good winter hike, not the best for views

A good half-day snowshoe hike in wintertime. The trail is well designed, with zig-zags to keep the gradient reasonably gentle, but it's still a good enough work out to give a sense of achievement when you've completed the round trip.. It's also a good way of escaping the honeypot crowds around the lake shoreline - within100 meters of leaving the... More

Relatively easy, beautiful views. Took us about an hour to get to Mirror Lake and Lake Agnes is just half a mile from there. hiked in the winter and it was cold, just need the right gear :) loved it.

This was a great easy hike. It took about 2.5 hours and had lots of senic places to stop and take pictures along the way. The trail is easy to navigate and along the way you will see some water falls, Little behive mountain and mirror lake.

Beautiful lake, very good hiking trails around him. Many squirrels can meet. Take a trip around the lake, it's amazing, and very quiet.

My husband and I started out on this hike, not realizing how incredibly steep it is to get to lake Agnes. It took us about an hour and a half to get to this point. There are stopping points along the way so it just encourages you to keep going! However, when you get there, the view is beautiful and... More

Nice hike up to Lake Agnes and then you can go to the tea house. When we were there, if you visited both tea houses on the same day, you got discounted tea - yay! It was a total of 11 miles to hike first to Plain of 6 Glaciers, then to the Big Beehive, and then down to Lake... More

A great hike, it took us 90 minutes for the hike out and an hour to get back. We are mid 50s, regular walkers but we weren't really acclimatized to the altitude having arrived the night before. The trail is large and sign posted, no danger of getting lost. We enjoyed a sunny and dry day. The tea house is... More

Worth the hikes. If you haven't hiked before bring snacks and water. And hiking shoes that are waterproof and rain jacket. For someone fit takes about 35-40 minutes. Tea house has hot drinks and sandwiches. Only takes cash. Washrooms available there.

It's a nice hike up about 3.5 kms to the tea house at Lake Agnes. Mostly varying degrees of uphill with a couple plateau's along the way. If you enjoy walking/hiking you'll like this a lot. In walking down, don't rush it. I did a little and jammed my knee a bit. Lesson learned here, enjoy it both ways. Lol.... More

Views of the lake are nice. The hike is moderate...takes quite a while to get there. Not much to see during the hike except mirror lake and a few very nice views close to lake agnes. Enjoy!!
