We did this hike early on a Saturday morning and it was wonderful. We hiked up to the Teahouse, but rather than eat there, brought our own lunches which we ate on one of the benches while enjoying the spectacular view. I would recommend that you are in fairly decent shape to make the entire climb, as there are some... More

Stopping-by during a day-long hike, tasting hand-made lemonade and cakes. Really good. Rough as a TeaHouse in the middle of the forest has to be.

The hike was good, not too long, crowded but less so than around the big lake. Views were spectacular, as most small glacier-fed lakes are. Tea house made it stand out. Run with the spirit of the old original tea house, with from scratch tea biscuits that were so fluffy and wonderful, and a huge selection of interesting specialty teas... More

We hiked around the lake from the teahouse to Big Beehive. The lake has a stunning blue colour. However, to fully appreciate it, you must see it from higher up, on the way to Big Beehive.

Heralded as a must do walk from the Chateau Lake Louise. It is not a walk if you are in the slightest bit out of shape. Whilst it is only a 7.6km round trip it climbs over 1300 ft in that short distance so it is quite strenuous. It's was worth all the agony though, first of all you come... More

It took about 2 hours to get up and 45 minutes to get back down. There are two good spots to see Lake Louise from the trail. Go early in the morning, but that is the most popular trail. The teahouse itself is a really cool building with a neat story. Its usually full and very expensive but a nice... More

A bit of a strenuous hike for occasional hikers, but worth every minute. Takes about 2.5 hours up and 45 mins back (the downhill is much easier). The tea house is a bit crowded, but enjoyable anyway, go as early in the day as possible, we were walking down at about 1:30 and you could tell that was the crowded... More

A good intermediate hike up through the forest from Lake Louise for a half-day trip. I wandered off the beaten path on the west side of the lake and met a foraging marmot. Authentic place.

the walk up from the hustle and bustle of Lake Louise, takes you up to this peaceful small lake with a picturesque tea room. It is quite small inside, but space outside .... where you can watch your new friends waiting for crumbs. The walk up is uphill all, the way and the last few hundred yards are spoiled a... More

Did this hike from Lake Louise with my sis in law and my 2 kids (11 & 9). It was directly uphill the entire way but we were ready for that. The tea house at the end was adorable and the kids enjoyed getting a cookie to calorie up for the walk back down. We popped a squat on the... More
