Tripadvisor doesn't seem to have the "Teahouse Challenge" hike as an activity, I think because they confuse the two tea houses (Lake Agnes Tea House and Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House) with restaurants, which they are, but they're really super cool stops on the most famous day hike in Canada. I make it a point to find iconic day... More

This is a gentle hike from the shore of Lake Louise, up past Mirror Lake, to Lake Agnes. Fantastic views of the Beehives and other rock formations.

Our family had a great time hiking up to Lake Agnes. Parking at Lake Louise is tough but the hike is worth it. Fairly strenuous and packed in the summer. We ventured around the lake and up the Big Beehive. The switch backs up the lake side of this peak are nerve wracking for someone who doesn't like heights. I... More

The hike was pretty grueling only because I am not used to the elevation since I live below sea level. Aside from that the hike was not terrible if you take your time and it is worth it for the views and enjoying a nice lunch at the tea house. I can't wait to come back and do it again

Not much of a hiker myself, so the hike up was pretty exhausting. The teahouse at the top was very nice, though. You could wind down and eat after the hike. The view is incredible. The way up was tough, but the way down was very very easy. It's worth the hike.

The hike upwards, 3.4km, is worth. At the top you will find a beautiful tiny lake and a delicious Tea House where you can enjoy a sandwich, tea and an apple crumb cake. On the way up you can also enjoy another small lake, Mirror Lake.

It's rather uphill all the way so you need to be somewhat in shape. Mirror lake is a real highlight and a nice rewarding halfway point. We lost most of our view due to fog/mist so try to go when it's sunny. Watch the sudden dropoffs along most of the trail but they make for some awesome views!

Great hike up to the Tea House. It is all up hill but overall an easy to moderate hike. We read the other reviews about heading up early and would recommend this. We started the hike just before 10am and it was perfect amount of people. The tea house is such a nice relaxing spot high up in the mountains.... More

We enjoyed our hike from Lake Louise through the trail in the woods to Mirror Lake and then to Lake Agnes. The lakes were a beautiful turquoise colour and surrounded by pretty wild flowers and majestic moutains. The trail was quite busy in the afternoon, so heading out early is recommended if you want to experience some solitude. The tea... More

It's a nice walk up and a pretty tea house near the lake. I did prefer the other tea house though if you have to choose one to visit. This one seemed very busy compared to the other one.
