I did this this hike several times. But you need to combine together with small or big Beehive. Small beehive is only another 1.2km from Lake Agnes. Halfway you see a stunning little mirror lake afterwards small waterfall and Lake Agnes. If you head up to small beehive you get to see all three - Lake Louise, mirror lake and... More

It's what i called 'civilized hiking". Work like a dog to get to the top, but then you sit down and have tea and cookies before returning to the bottom. Be aware-the elevation gain is equivalent to 130 stories! Not as many view points as most hikes. It is paved.

Loved making the hike from Lake Louise up to the lake Agnes Tea House. Saw lakes, mountains, glaciers and a waterfall along the way. A bit of a steep hike in a short distance but my husband who is not in top condition made it with a few short stops along the way. It is beyond beautiful, it gave me... More

Not an easy hike, but worth every step as you pass by Mirror Lake - enjoy the tea house at the top - also worth every step!

We thoroughly enjoyed our hike to Lake Agnes Teahouse and then on to Big Beehive. The total time involved was 4 hours for us, which included a 30 minute rest at the Teahouse and another 30 minute rest at the Gazebo on the top of Big Beehive. Parts of it are steep, but not extremely difficult. Moderate best describes the... More

This trail is a pretty vigorous climb - takes about 2 hours to get to the top. The scenery of Lake Agnes and the surrounding mountains is worth it however. We had a snack at the tea house that we enjoyed very much - as you might expect there wasn't a huge menu, primarily sandwiches and tea (of course) but... More

We hiked up to the Lake Agnes Tea House - well worth the moderately challenging (for these prairie legs) hike! Views were incredible, and the pot of tea hit the spot! Would do this again every chance I could.

The hike is not that difficult unless you are totally out of shape (I am in my late 50s). You can stop along the way and have nice views of Lake Louise. Agnes lake is not big but pretty much a virgin lake. Nice place to relax before heading back down and continue hiking.

VERY strenuous hike, with only one good view of Lake Louise below. Horse poop on the trail, and the teahouse was closed when we got to the top. Lake Agnes didn't have the pretty blue color like other Banff lakes--recommend you spend your time on another, prettier hike.

A challenging hike but with great views of mountains, lakes, glaciers and falls. Lots of wildlife. And there is a teahouse!
