You can hike to Agnes Teahouse by foot, but it's exhausting (3.5 kilometers, or 2 miles uphill; it takes about 2 hours to get to the top). The stable offers sleigh rides, trail rides, and overnight horse trips. They are available winter and summer. The stable is... more

It is a very busy place, so arrive early(before 11a) or late (after 5p) to find parking which is somewhat inadequate for the many who come. This location has been on my list of top 3 things to do before I die for years, and it did not disappoint! It is an over whelmingly beautiful site! Pictures do not do... more
If you can get past the "rush hour traffic", pedestrian and vehicular, around the Chateau and its parking lot, you are in for a spectacular treat! Take the trail to the end of the lake, about 1.5 kms, and watch rock climbers scale the steep cliffs that hug the end of the lake. Look back across the lake upon the... more
