Best place that I have ever visited. I visited in summer and the view was absolutely amazing. Everybody must go to Lake Louise at least once in life.

There's a reason this place is filled with tourists: IT'S BEAUTIFUL! It was my first time in the Rockies when I visited, so I was in awe. My camera had lots of fun, too. I also went on the trail to Lake Agnes, which just off to the side of the lake. I recommend Morraine Lake, and actually preferred it... More

It was a nice experience, during mid march in T-Shirt, walking on the lake frozen, with 1,5 feet of powder. They made an Ice ring to skate, and in the middle an ice castle. Worth the visit.

Lake Louise is one of the most photographed places in the world and for good reason. The Hotel is historic, recently renovated, and famously "flowerscaped" with Iceland Poppies. The various hiking trails are beautiful beyond words and good for hikers of all abilities. Some trails skirt the lake, meandering through the forest while others climb up, either up to the... More

Drove up from Banff to take in Lake Louise. Stopped at several different scenic stops and shopped and dined while we were there. Breathtaking scenery and friendly folks.

we visited during the summer and it was very busy, but still very beatiful. The view is amazing! you can also rent a canoe. it is recommended to walk around the lake and also get inside the hotel to see the view from the big windows. the parking lot is very big but try to avoid the afternoon hours- it... The frozen lake was stunning, just perfect for a ski across the set tracks. The mountains looked on majestically. Ice skaters glided across the rink. A perfect place to visit for it's beauty. We had a hot chocolate in the Chateau afterwards but found our particular server unenthuastic about serving us in the lake view bar as we were only... More
