Took a Hydra rafting tour over the summer on the river with my wife and had a fantastic time. Great tour and wicked fun on the river. The class 4 section was undoubtedly the highlight! The tour guides were very professional and lots of fun. Highly recommended. More

It was my son and I first time rafting. Hydra picked us up at our hotel in Banff which was great. The bus we rode in was not great but was really fun driving through the mountain areas into Golden. All the facilities including the bathrooms were great. The tour guides etc were good....we went as far as the tours... More

Our family of 4, first time rafters, went rafting with Hydra in August, 2011 on the Kicking Horse Classic. Our guide was Hailey (or Cailey)...sorry we forgot...but she was awesome!! We went on an afternoon ride, so lunch first then rafting. Meal was great, well presented and tasted great. After the instructions from one of the guides, we headed out... More

I send groups of backpackers rafting with Hydra and I've never had even one person come back unhappy. The staff are great, the location is very open and a cool place to chill and they include a great BBQ lunch with their trips. Recommend this company to anyone! More

Yem was an awesome river guide and we had a blast going through the most challenging parts of the Class III rapids! He was knowledable about the area and was very patient with some foreign visitors who talked more than they paddled! We went during a warm spell so the glaciers were melting enough to keep the waters deep enough... More

It was my first time white water rafting and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot wait to go for a second time! I strongly recommend it. But if you are afraid of the cold, I do suggest you wear more than the wet suit, booties and the splash jacket that they provide (a fleece is also provided free of charge,... More

Had a good time recently with this company. The rafting was fun just a pity it was near the end of the season and the ride was not as challenging as it would be early in the year. Overall pretty good though. More

We had such a great time on the kicking horse river. Our guide Haylee was awesome, giving us good directions and always making sure we were well prepare. The lower canyon (level 3 and 4) is definetely fun and even as a first time rafter, it is not too scary at all. I recommend everyone to this trip. If you... More
