It's a must see Dam in Andhra even in India.. We came from Coimbatore to visit this Dam .. We stayed in Guntur and traveled by Road.. through the Green Chili farms, rural setting and all others.. The Park and Museum inside the island ( You need go in a small ferry..Don't remember the fee) is worth visiting and well...

So you like water and lake bodies. situated at about 130 odd kilometres from Hyderabad is this dam. It is ideal for a couple of days relaxation especially with the Andhra Pradesh tourism development corporation's guest house by the water body.
