We took the Marietas Island tour, from Punta Mita. It was on a 20 ft. Zodiac style boat, and was perfect! We saw tons of whales, including humpbacks literally jumping out of the water just meters from out boat. We went to the "hidden beach" and then went snorkeling. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

What a wonderful day but busy with a great deal of walking on uneven ground. Our guide Rubi was extremely knowledgeable about history and conversant in English & Spanish. Rubi made sure all our questions were answered and that the entire group felt like a family for the day. San Sebastián was incredibly beautiful and an amazing place historically. I... More

Vallarta Adventures is by far the best of the best! The attitude of every one in the staff is super friendly and helpful. You can Tell that they Love what they do! I also love that the guides are able to provide amazing details about mexican culture or nature. Do not go to another company, go always with Vallarta Adventures!

The best part of my trip was the excursions! I went on all three during the last week of January 2015. The Outdoor Adventure was a lot of fun, very safe and interesting and I had a blast. Wear good shoes, but ones you don't mind going for a swim in! Be a little brave, and have a great time.... More

I loved this excursion! I'm more of an adventure seeker than city-tour type of tourist but I went on this excursion and it was the best one of my trip. My tour guide Fido was amazing. I learned so much about Mexico, Aztec culture and history and got see parts of Mexico I would have never gone to otherwise. The... More

My wife and I selected this trip as part of our 20th Anniversary Cruz. The Carnival staff made getting from ship to ship easy and convenient. The trip was fun. We saw whales coming to and from the islands and the manner in which they watch the whales is both safe and respectful. The snorkeling was fun, and we saw... More

This is one of the most interesting tours I've ever been on, especially if you enjoy exploring the real native culture and accompanying cottage industries. A beautiful trip up into the Sierra Madre mountains with our most excellent tour guide, Gabriel Ramos, covered everything fron the breathtaking botanical garden, to art galleries, cheese and bread makers, ancient petroglyphs, and a... Vallarta adventures is a good company and provided fun and safe excursions around puerto Vallarta and Banderas bay. A few draw backs is that they don't provide transportation to and from your hotel. That is extra for the guests. Luckily my hotel was close and a cab ride was 6$ each way. The other draw back is the sales pitch... More

Did some excursions through Vallarta Adventures on my last trip to PV and was not dissapointed. Did the Marietas and the Extreme Adventure. Both fantastic, really fun, entertaining and attentive staff/guides. Marietas was pretty cool although I wish snorkelling without a life jacket was allowed. The overemphasis on safety is reassuring but sometimes a little over the top. Great food... More
