Lots of room on the beach, lots of sand, great for taking walks. Some people said they walked to Bucerias from the resort which is an hour away.

VALLARTA ADVENTURES! Our first trip to Puerto Vallarta and always wanted to to a Zip Line Adventure. Chose Vallarta Ventures and was blown away. The trip to get to into the jungle was amazing and beautiful, including a mule ride to the top of the mountain. Then the zip line / rappelling / water slide adventure was awesome. There was... More

The beach at our hotel was very clean, excellent sand, and had plenty of lounge chairs available for use.

Always wear water shoes as there are small jelly fish. Amazing sand with pyrite granules that make it sparkle in the sun.

The beach at the Mayan resort is over a mile long, usually few people on clean, hard sand, looking out at a beautiful bay surrounded by beautiful mountains. Don't miss a walk at sunset or being part of the turtle release at the Mayan complex. The walk at low tide (evening in Feb & March) is awesome.

This is a nice beach. It was easy to walk. Even when it was full of people you did not feel crowded. I would go back. Not many shells.

Without questions the Beaches along Nuevo Vallarta are outstanding compared to the beaches in Puerto Vallarta.

Its the best beach goes for several miles and no rocks just sand and local beach bars, punta mita and bucerias have a very laid back pace and very relaxing. We had a speed boat and saw south Puerto Vallarta which was more high rise buildings, rocks and not a lot of beach to walk on which only uses the malecon/boardwalk... More
