This is a beautiful church inside and out. It is not old like the other churches in Leon but nonetheless, it is worth the visit.

Gothic architecture from centuries ago in this church comes to live with the light that enters through the beautiful color stained glass, a must see place if you're in León Guanajuato

It an awesome church I just passed by error but went I saw it I said I my god it is a wonderful building, I could see how much money could be spent in on church and contemplate the magnificent of God but I would rather to spent it on poor people if I were pope of something like that

Pretty pastel exterior and outstanding when lit at night. Busy evening passeo with possible band and dancing in the square. Bakeries, shops, markets and restaurants close by.

Wow, what a beautiful piece of history and architectural passion and labor. We visited several times and went to go below and look into the catacombas under the Templo. On our next visit we hope to go again.

This Cathedral is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. It's unusual color from the outside; mostly white, makes more interesting. The inside is beautiful and exquisitely done. It is mist definitely worth the visit, even if you have to drive a bit to get to it.

We were just kinda wandering around town, with our Mexican friend giving us a kind of mini tour of the city (she visits once in awhile, but she's not from Leon). The last time they'd visited was a couple years ago and the church wasn't completed yet, or open to the public, so we were really excited when we saw... More

A must see cathedral in the state of Guanajuato. The architecture both inside and outside are just breathtaking. When one enters the cathedral and walks around the atmosphere and stained glasses makes one feel like one is in a Ken Follett book. Further proof as to why Mexico is the number one Latin country in the world. Added to this... More
