I visited the Pinocateca today, and there was a wonderful exhibit of photos--landscapes documenting the changes in the Veracruz landscapes a result of modernization. A photographer friend who was with me on the visit said the quality of the photographs was like nothing he had seen for quite some time. The quality of the exhibits here is always excellent. But... This is an art gallery ONLY It clearly does not have anything to do with Diego Rivera. Interesting exhibit about how we are raping the land. Photos mostly. Don't expect to see see ANY Riveras

I try to catch every exhibit here. The art is sometimes contemporary, sometimes historic. Never boring. Always free.

And there never have been evidently. Only in name. It is a small gallery with very good works but don't go looking for Diego Rivera's work. Go to Mexico City to the Palacio National to see his murals.
