Very nice place, with a panting of virgencita on the wall, people are coming to thank for all the miracles. It is situated in the mountain, so you will have to take stairs and walk for a while, so maybe not so good attraction for old people. there are small souvenir place, and you can buy some snacks. entrence of... Dry and nothing in particular. Make sure to bring your water and eat well before you go up. Not a turist attraction.

Enjoyed this quick stop on the way out of Hermosillo. A small climb up the stairs to view the painted picture of the Virgin Guadalupe. There are hundreds of requests to the Virgin and shrines set up. A beatiful site to see.

I have been to the Cerro de la Virgin many times. It's on the main highway to Guaymas, but 10 minutes out from Hermosillo, 20 minute roundtrip, minus how long you take to climb up stairs. I've never counted the stairs, but there are quite a few. An average person, I would say 5 minutes. It was quite warm so... More
