I like the place, but there are not to much places to shopping. The sun screen at the hotel is very expensive, and se canot find to sell outside the hotel.

I think it's funny some people say Puerto Aventuras "is a taste of Mexico," as I don't think it can be further from the truth. Maybe a tasted of AZ or FL, definitely not MX! Obviously different people have different points of view, I'm one that wants to experience MX, not an overly touristy experience. EX: I will NEVER swim... More

...although a fairly nice one. I think that the swim with dolphins detracts from the marina. The same company that does the dolphin swims keeps some manatees in an area. These poor creatures look sad. There are some restaurants and shops around the marina which charge way too much.

lovely but out-done by AI hotels, the bar and restaurants were nice and some good value for money, one had TV and put the football on well worth a visit to watch the world go by

Our time at Puerto Adventuras was absolutely amazing, we upgraded to swim with the Manatees and the sea lions as well as our swim with the dolphins! The swim with dolphins was absolutely amazing from start to finish and to top it off my boyfriend (now fiancé) proposed to me right at the end, he arranged it all with the... More

Very cool to walk through with lots to see. The only thing is don't buy from the stores there, they are twice as expensive as anywhere else and don't negotiate much.

Went here to swim with the dolphins and had to stay a while to wait for our ride back to the hotel and found cute stores here by the lagoon as well as a snack bar and eatery. We walked around and did some sight seeing and it was nice and relaxing.

This is a great place to spend the day or night, whether swimming with the dolphins or manatees, browsing the many shops for souvenirs, jewelry and clothing or relaxing in one of the authentic bars or restaurants along the waterfront. You can easily walk or bike there from the Catalonia. It was nice being in such a beautiful setting where... More

The marina is within walking distance of the Dreams Puerto Aventuras resort. It has several little shops that you can browse through as well as tons of restaurants to enjoy a cerveza and food in the shade. The Dolphin Discovery center is also located here, where you can watch people swim with dolphins, manatees, and sea lions, or participate yourself.... More
