We enjoyed the beach in front of the Omni. The sea wall prevented the waves from coming in and allowed the kids to swim without worrying about currents and large waves. I was able to take a blow up raft and lay out all day int eh water without worrying about drifting. The kids loved searching for hermit crabs in... More

Best swimming beach in Puerto Aventuras. Not large but adequate. Not ideal for snorkeling - not much to see, Akumal is much better.

Beach was beautiful with a wonderful bar in the water - yet it was full of seaweed. The hotel was very pretty but hard to find anyone to help us.

The ocean is beautiful wherever you are. Great lounge chairs and palapas so you can have sun or shade. The beach is currently being built back up as much of it was washed away by a hurricane. No matter - it's still beautiful.

More sandy areas this past year, and the Omni has excellent breakfast al fresco, and a swim up bar that serves great mojito's and nacho's.

We are owners at Porto Bello Grande Marina, private marina and use the Omni Hotel and Services each year. The staff turn over is rare. We have been going for 8 years and the same people work there. Very friendly and helpful. Hotel and pools are clean and the beach is very nice. Danny, the head bartender and his staff... More

This low-rise hotel and its small beach sit on the area of water called "Fatima Bay". Technically, the Omni Hotel Beach has lounge chairs for hotel guests and palapas, too (so that would seem to set it apart as the "Omni" Beach). Non-hotel guests may use the beach and Omni guests enjoy the rest of the (non Omni Hotel) beach... More

The Omni beach bar is a wonderful place to stop for a cold refreshment when walking the beach. But...the beach is gone and the water is up to the steps of the bar. No real beach for the Omni guests. Very sad.
