Great swim w/ Dolphins

This was a good experience, good amount of time in the water and with the Dolphins and the handlers were knowledgeable about the animals.

Loved learning about the dolphins and interacting with them, however, it was very expensive for the amount of time you were with them. Pictures were too expensive to buy.

I just watched them several times over the course of my stay, which was nice, I didn't pay to swim with them. It broke up the day.

It was fine but I expected a bit more time with the dolphins for the price. The dolphins were awesome though.

My wife had an amazing time swimming and interacting with the dolphins for $80. I watched for free. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5* is the blatant picture ripoff attempt like everything else at Barcelo. They attempted to sell us her video and 32 pics for $360 afterwards! We managed to talk them down to $100 after the... More

While staying at Barcelo our 6 and 7 year old girls wanted to swim with the Dolphins. At the last minute they chickened out and opted for the Interactive Program where they kissed, touched, and played with the dolphins. At the end they wished they would have swam with the dolphins. Kids have to be 4 ft tall to swim... More

I should have done research prior. It broke my heart that the dolphins are captive and will never roam free. Its a love hate relationship that I have with these kind of parks. I loved being so close to the dolphins but I hate that I supported this kind of practice. Would I do it again? No. Purely for moral... More

Spent the day as a dolphin trainer. great program, wish I could have done more with the training and rewarding the dolphins. could have separated the "Trainers for the day" from the other groups and took the day with a trainer like Brenda, and focus more on the positive conditioning they do with the Dolphins.
