I dive, but I never feel super at ease with it. My husband and I only get to dive once or twice a year, so I've never gotten super comfortable. These guys are terrific. They give an awesome pre-dive prep. They explain exactly how you are going to enter, what their hand signals are, etc. when you go in, there... More

We went on a family trip to the Mayan Riviera in March, and did several dives with the team at Dive Aventuras. Six of us did two reef dives, and then three of us did two cenote dives with the guides from here, and were very impressed. They took excellent care of us, especially the two beginner divers in the... More

Unfortunately, it has been a while getting around to completing a review. My wife is a licensed open-water diver; I was not, so we booked a taster course during which the staff involved could not have been more pleasant and infectiously enthusiastic- they clearly love what they do! I booked a full PADI Open-Water Course and spent 4 further days... More

We travel to Puerto Aventuras often, and the dive shop is stop #1 upon arrival. We're always greeted like good friends, and part of the family. Been diving with them for 7+ years and they've certified both of my younger daughters, my mother, and a few other family members over the years. Great staff and instructors, we enjoy their enthusiasm... More

We did some diving with Dive Aventuras. I've done about 30 dives in different countries in Asia, Oceania, South and Central America and I've never seen that. Our dive master was Cesar who was careless during the dive. He was damaging the coral, rocks and plants with the equipment, tank and fins as he was diving very close to them.... More

Your review has certainly surprised us since your guide not only is a well trained and experienced Divemaster but also a qualified and very experienced cave diver—a skill which demands perfect buoyancy control. We have searched our records in an attempt to pinpoint the day you were diving so we could discuss this with your guide but unfortunately were unable... More

As a recently certified diver I was excited at the opportunity to do some "real" diving in the ocean so while in Cancun for our daughter's wedding I took a day to dive with this fine dive shoppe. While there was a dive shoppe on site at the hotel where we were staying it is an operation based in Europe... More

I went for 4 dives over two days with Carlos. Carlos was certifying my girlfriend for open water and I was just tagging along. The dives were great and Carlos gave great instruction. My only complaint from the whole experience was the shuttle system returning to my resort at the end of the afternoon dives were not very timely. Not... More

WOW!! After a couple of childhood "experiences", wasn't sure how I would handle the cave dives here, but once I had my pre-dive brief, and took a peak at some of the brochure photos, I was good to go. A little apprehensive at first, but then, once through the "brack", WAHOO..it was awesome! I even poked my way into some... More

We booked our entire trip through Dive Adventuras. Mike was great and arranged for everything. The entire team there was great. We had problems with our gear before we even started our first dive. Mike quickly switched us to a later dive time. Armando fixed both of our equipment in no time at all.

Husband and father decided to go for a dive while staying in Puerto Aventuras May 2014. Dive was cut short because there was a person in the group that was having trouble, so the surfaced, but rather than taking the rest back down (they had at least 30 more minutes of air and we're not diving very deep), the dive... Your husband and father's experience is important to us and as you can see from the majority of our reviews on Trip Advisor, we normally meet our goals. We apologize for the bad experience. We did follow up with their guide and he explained that although it was a shallow dive, the dive time was 45 mins and the other... More
