We found this highly rated but not well marked beach on our 3rd day in the Riviera Maya. It is not too far south of Puerto Aventuras. The sand was beautiful, it was not overcrowded, the restaurant on the beach served good food and drinks and the snorkeling was great for seeing fish (although no turtles). Overall, a great day!

The Sea Trek is outstanding, a bit scary when you think about it, but there's a ratio of at least 1 diver to participant under water, so go for it!

We always enjoy a day at this beach. We own a house nearby and try to hit this beach as often as possible. There's a fee to enter from the highway. This includes your parking fee however if you eat in the restaurant here they will validate your ticket and refund the cost of parking upon exit.

This beach is much quieter than many in the area. There are shaded areas, trees and small beach palapas. The beach itself is clean and the sea is blue !!!!! It has a few well situated restaurants some of which play live music Fridays through to Sunday, there is a "small fee" to enter the driveway to the beach itself,... More

Husband and i needed to get out of the Hard Rock Riviera Maya, getting away from the man made lagoons was desperately needed. Xpu-ha was perfecto, the service at our small beach club was awesome, good beer ,good food, the long stretches of white sandy beaches and beautiful blue waters helped to make our vacay memorable.

We got to visit this beach as the Bel Air resort now has a beach club there since their beach was wiped out due to a hurricane years back. It was a nice surprise to see this beach which was around the point from our resort. The water was nice to swim in although we found we had to enter... More

Great little piece of paradise off the beaten path. We did have some trouble finding the place as our cabbie refused to drive down the gravel road from the main highway so we were forced to walk which took about 10 minutes. Once there, however, the service and food at the Playa Beach Bar was excellent. We took advantage of... More

Great place to spend a day. The beach is beautiful and the food is great. Best Cerviche I have eaten in the area. The beach is similar to Tulum Beach but with less people.

This was a long, beautiful white expanse of beach, and the only one we paid for, which wasn't too much of a concern. An 80 peso entrance fee for two people led us down a dirt road to the beach. We took a cab from Playa del Carmen (230 +tip pesos), but it'd be an easy collectivo ride, which would... More
