It was crammed! I had read reviews that it was a quiet beach and a secret. It appears it's no longer a secret! We were crammed in like sardines. We found a little spot in the south end of the beach away from the crowds. The man on the rope charges 40mxn to get passed the rope or you'll have... More

We had asked our hotel for a recommendation for a great clean enjoyable Beach. It was away from most tourist, served good food with good service. Reasonable prices to scuba, snorkel or rent a boat.

This is a gorgeaous beach. My friend and I traveled here from Playa del Carmen. It cost $40.00 round trip. We rented beach chairs with an umbrella. The water was super clear and fun for swimming. We enjoyed drinks from our lounge chairs and at the beach bar. I would love to return to this place some day.

My wife and I hopped on a Collectivo van (~25 pesos each) from Puerto Aventuras and really enjoyed our day here! Brought our own snorkeling gear (ok spot), swam a lot, strolled the beach, and just chilled. There are chairs at the "Beach Club," some are free with food/drink purchases, the nicer ones were 250 pesos each. The beers are... More

A nice day trip if you are looking for a local beach to visit. There is a beach club called LaPlaya Beach Club, down a bumpy dirt road, you can drive it if renting a car, or have the collectivo drop you off and walk in. They charge you to park your car or use their palapas or chairs located... More

Very nice white powdery clean sand. Safe swimming because of reef slightly off the coast. The beachside restaurant has good good and very professional and friendly staff. Some lounges available with restaurant service; some others available for 225 pesos for two. Entrance fee is waived on exit with proof of restaurant service.
