I went there expecting to have an incredible experience with the dolphins. When actually I had an awful experience around 10 dolphins are kept in a small confined swimming pool. These sensitive and highly intelligent animals should be roaming free in the ocean not in a small swimming pool as tourist entertainment. It was so overpriced and the staff were... More

Located in Ixtapa, the "Dolphinarium" is all about the tourist money and not so much about the dolphins. The dolphin aquariums are super small. Anyone in your party not paying to get in the water with the dolphins will need to pay to see you get in the water. The aquarium water was not clean at all.

What an incredible opportunity to get up close and personal with these beautiful Dolphins. They are amazing and intelligent creatures and Delfiniti does an excellent job of creating a safe environment for people of all ages to actual get in the water and interact with these incredible animals. It also appears they do take wonderful care of the dolphins and... More

Although the experience is good, I really wish it was cheaper. The pool is of course just ok size wise . No clicking or shooting is a major drawback. If I want to carry that experience with me in my camera, why not. Its not gonna ruin your show. If only they were priced more reasonably, more tourists would visit.... More

Like most reviews, the Dolphin experience is costly all in (including the $79 video and $8 per picture and $124/pp)- BUT the experience itself is priceless (and cheaper compared to Hawaii and Cancun). We opted for the 45- minute experience and were paired with another young sibiling couple. The dolphins are such gentle creatures and gave us their undivided attention... More

I do not like to see animals in captivity. However I could hear the show regularly being next door. So we checked it out, just pay there, do not go through the westjet guys. Its cheap, and I think the dolphins are like the puppies of the ocean and they are bonded with their trainers.

I was with a friend and she convinced me to do it after some time. I thought it would be cheesy and super touristy. Although it is touristy it was alot of fun, a cool experience with some amazing animals. The experience is worth it entirley.
