In February 2013, I posted a review on TA about this course called “Possibly a New Life!” (refer to this for a more detailed description and narrative). Unfortunately, this has not happened since the owner, who develops local real estate, has not committed the necessary resources to infrastructure (bunker, fairway repairs and solving the salt water seepage) other than daily... Fun to play.staff is very friendly and beer cart comes often whenever I'm there .multty game package is available as far as I know. Visited jan. 2015 and going back jan. And feb. 2016. this course has the 'bones' of something great, actually felt that it had a better concept and more challenging design than the Palma but grossly neglected. the front nine is under repair and virtually ungolfable. Very frustrating to not be able to strategize your game. the back nine is fair but none of the bunkers have had any care and... More

This is not really a golf course; it is a bad design, completely uninteresting, has no shade or trees or redeeming features and is in the middle of a bug infested swamp

Watch the water hazard because there are crocks in there. Don't go in after your ball. Really just let it go or lose an arm. But were else do you play that crocks are in the water hazard? Worth the play.

This is an old Robert Trent Jones course with naturally slow greens, but, great layout and fairways. One slightly on the Pacific's crashing waves, all within a few 4 irons form the ocean. Bring your clubs, cause clubs rented are old. Still, super friendly and beautiful course to play.

Better golf course than the Palma Real course. Greens were awesome but some fairways need lots of work. Very challenging (12 handi cap). Bunkers need some more sand. Over all, cheaper than the other course, nobody out there, bring a caddie if you plan on playing yourself.

Most people play at the Palma Real course and now I know why. We played here once in Jan/15 just to check it out for ourselves. This course has a great layout and so much potential. I'm sure it was beautiful and a great play back in the day. It appears the course has been majorly flooded at some point.... More

There are two golf courses in Ixtapa. I choose to play Marina because the pace of play is under four hours for 18 holes. There are some rough patches but some challenging holes as well. Always have a good time
