We stayed at Capella Ixtapa which was a reasonably short walk away from Playa Linda. We made the walk one of the 7+ days we were there. We went towards the end of the day. Most of the shops were closed and there weren't any vendors out peddling their goods when we go there. We thought that was a good... More

You have three choices of beach here. There is great snorkeling and you can take a nice walk on beach. No rocks and no waves. Great food . Just bring some money or extra water as you only get one drink per person. We stayed ther for about 5 hours and had a great time

This little area is full of vendors and food if you like to shop/eat. They also have a crocodile area that you can see them feeding and get pretty close. Was a nice walk from our hotel (Azul Ixtapa). There are other activities there but we just did the shopping.

great stop after a morning of fishing. we stopped and had our fished grilled, and sashimi style made to order while we sat and relaxed on the beach. quite the set-up they have going on this little restaurant/snorkel/bar island.

It was a quiet beach and the little village had nice shops and friendly people. I liked the location but it was a bit far to Zihoutanejo and I like to be near a bigger town.

I have been to Playa Linda on many occasions to see the iguana, beautiful birds and crocodiles in the nature area. The beach is not the place to swim but several restaurants on the beach are delicious. THIS IS WHERE TO CATCH THE WATER TAXI TO IXTAPA ISLAND.... Do not pay the high hotel rates to visit Ixtapa Island..Ride the... More

Really beautiful and lively beach, music, food, crowded but you can walk and get away from it all, liked looking at the huge crocs, they were ugly but exciting to see. I will go to this beach again if given a chance

Watch out single ladies! Locals will try to swarm you to get your business if it's at a restaurant or the trip sales (too much competition). They are incessant and you almost have to be rude to get them to stop (I think I was way too polite because the trip sales guy did NOT leave me alone when all... More

WOW - what a gem. Playa Linda is a beautiful barren beach. Void of hotels and commercialism, it was a great place to take a walk or swim without the hub bub of the hotels. Near the pier there are some local restaurants and the beach was filled with local families on the weekends taking advantage of the surf. MILES... More
