Nice beach....some body surfing area. And you can do some bartering with the locals at the market. Walk closer to the croc viewing area and find a family that brings in oysters each morning....get their around 10AM for fresh oysters.

Long flat beach in front of the Azul Resort. The sand is dark and hard packed. Easy to walk on. Lots of water activities on the beach (para-sailing, banana boat rides, sea-dos). Some restaurants and shops at the north end of the beach along with the crocodile reserve. Pier for water taxis to Ixtapa Island also at the North end... More

It's where you go to get to the Island. Otherwise I would not need to go there again. Lots of vendors with swim or beach wear. The weather was lousy when we went there, and that probably is why my experience wasn't the greatest.

A market for shopping, Fantastic beach. Watertaxi to the Ixtapa Isle Very clean area and the vendors are friendly - not pushy. Make a day of it - you won't be disappointed.

Excellent little market, walking distance from our hotel, had fun bartering with vendors. Nice beach, crocodile conservation area lets you see lots of crocs, turtles and birds. There is a lovely walking, jogging and biking path that wonders through the forest, you can get all the way to Ixtapa on. The pier has a water taxi at the end that... More

Market vendors are set up here and loved bartering. We got some souvenirs. Some vendors were very pushy. Entertainment was there as well.

Playa Linda is a nice local place with cheap souvenirs and some local eateries. The best attraction here was the crocodile and wildlife conservation area. Lots of active crocodiles. Big iguanas. Rosetta Spoonbills and Egrets. Turtles. The kids loved it. Very nice place to bike/walk to from some of the close by hotels.
