I don't like spicy food but still enjoyed it. Bring you own bell peppers from the market to substitute for their peppers. They could use a warmer to keep entrees warm til dessert and drink items are made. More

The chef and his assistent, Alonso and Lizbet, explained us everything about Mexican cooking. This was a wonderfull experience and added alot of value to our Mexican holiday. As we took several cooking classes we truly recommend this cooking class. They really take time to explain about the food and ingredients. Alonso is a great man with patience and Lizbet... More

We took a 5 day cooking course here and enjoyed every minute. Two women from Austrailia were our classmates and added a lot of fun to the experience. Lizbet, the interpreter couldn't do enough for us, and Antonio was always pleasant and happy to share his expertise. A hands on experience for participants. Staying at the colourful hotel where the... More

Three of us: my sister, my daughter and I participated in the one-morning cooking school and found it such an enjoyable experience that we highly recommend it. Alonso was a pleasant and patient chef. All ingredients and techniques were clearly explained and we received much hands-on experience. Plus the food we made was truly delicious! This was a great learning... More

I just took a quick, one day cooking class with my daughter at Mesón Sacristía Cooking Class and it was terrific. I am already planning a return for a more detailed class and to spend more time in Puebla. The Hotel did not have any available classes during my visit, but made a special one-day class for me and my... More

Nicely organized, charming and talented chef, perfect translation, and lovely kitchen make for a lovely one to five day class on mexican cooking puebla style. We found the whole experience delightful and relaxing, while still learning the basics of mexican sauces and moles. There is plenty of time to explore Puebla (sweet town!) and the surrounding areas in the afternoons.... More

My husband and I just returned from Puebla, where we'd enrolled in Meson Sacristia's 5-day cooking school through Epiculinary. We had a fabulous time! The chef, Alonso, was both a very instructive and patient teacher, making sure we understood all the techniques while keeping us moving forward. His translator and sous chef, Elisa, was top-notch. We left the school with... More

After having a fabulous Mole Problano in the dining room at Mesones Sacristia, I signed up for the three day cooking class offered by the hotel, to learn how to prepare it. With the chef and an interpreter, my husband and I went through all the steps from shopping to preparation, then cooking and plating 9 recipes. The staff was... More
