We LOVED the African Safari! It is such a large park with so many activities for people of all ages. It reminded me of Animal Kingdom at about a quarter the price:) My friend and I spend five hours exploring the park. We drove through the open range and saw hundreds of animals out and about-eating, frolicking and napping on... More

I was really hesitant about going here -- I mean, really, a zoo? I could get that back home. But the friends we were visiting insisted, so we went. Really, this place is pretty amazing: from the car ride through the open areas to the huge walk around area including faux Amazon rain forest and fake Mayan temples. Reminded me... More

This is an excellent option for take a trip in family, You can see zebras, elephants, giraffas, llamas, white tigers, tapirus, black bears, birds, etc.The best is you can see all the animals in their habitat, and they look very friendly with people. Animals are well maintained. Grounds are nice. Wish we would have allowed for more time. If you go, go early. This is fun for any age.

We had a wonderful day in Africam Safari. The idea is to come with your own car to drive through the park but there are just as well tours by bus. You get the chance to see all the exotic animals from close by including white tigers and white rhinoceros (almost extinct!). There is plenty of spaces where to park... More

Wonderful time had by our entire party. Incredible exhibits, gift shop and shows. We split our time both on the safari (in a car), and walking around the zoo portion of the park. Lemur island was my favorite.

Great experience where you get REALLY close to all animals (tigers, rhinos, giraffes, lamas, etc.). It gets really crowded on the weekends so the drive is quite slow and warm. Expect at least 5 hours for the entire visit. The zoo-part is also great and you are allowed to pet the kangaroos!

I'm not a zoo lover at all but I joined friends to Africam. You drive there with your own car. First you pass an open area with e.g. apes and giraffes. Nice to see them walking by. Later you can park your car and walk into other areas with butterflies, birds and more. This is really nice as you can... More

This was a great time. The animals were freely roaming. A few of the highly predatory animals were in more enclosed environments but, generally, all seemed relaxed and content. The only tough part was the first stop once you are already in the park (with food and bathrooms). The hard part was leaving the parking area. It is uphill and... More

I was a reluctant visitor, so afraid that the animals would be mistreated and cramped into small enclosures. I was then amazed that it was more like the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, CA; animals able to roam free and well tended, but within eyesight. A very good attraction for children especially.
