Wonderful time had by our entire party. Incredible exhibits, gift shop and shows. We split our time both on the safari (in a car), and walking around the zoo portion of the park. Lemur island was my favorite.

Great experience where you get REALLY close to all animals (tigers, rhinos, giraffes, lamas, etc.). It gets really crowded on the weekends so the drive is quite slow and warm. Expect at least 5 hours for the entire visit. The zoo-part is also great and you are allowed to pet the kangaroos!

I'm not a zoo lover at all but I joined friends to Africam. You drive there with your own car. First you pass an open area with e.g. apes and giraffes. Nice to see them walking by. Later you can park your car and walk into other areas with butterflies, birds and more. This is really nice as you can... More

This was a great time. The animals were freely roaming. A few of the highly predatory animals were in more enclosed environments but, generally, all seemed relaxed and content. The only tough part was the first stop once you are already in the park (with food and bathrooms). The hard part was leaving the parking area. It is uphill and... More

I was a reluctant visitor, so afraid that the animals would be mistreated and cramped into small enclosures. I was then amazed that it was more like the Wild Animal Park in San Diego, CA; animals able to roam free and well tended, but within eyesight. A very good attraction for children especially.

This park was really nice, and not really what I expected. The animals are free to roam within the separate areas of the park. Unlike a zoo, which was really what I expected, very few of these animals are in cages. The large variety of animals also surprised me, and this was the first time I had seen a kangaroo... More

The animals seems well treated, we drive there, entered with our own car and I don't know if there is another way to do it. Make sure you take you own drinks and snack since the prices there are prohibitive for mexican standards. If you are an american or european you will be ok, is not that expensive (still you... More

I'm an animal watcher and an animal lover. I am in that conundrum of wanting to see and experience animals but don't want them to be unhappy and mistreated. I'm also a big fan of Mexico but I know that the developing state of the country is frequently problematic in dealing with humans, heaven forbid how animals are treated in... More

I did not know what to expect from this place, but friends wanted to visit. I was quite surprised and impressed by the quality and quantity of exhibits at this park. the majority of the park is a drive-through where you drive through different habitats seeing animals in a more natural state. I was impressed by how up close and... More
