This is clearly Puebla's most distinguished bookstore and cultural center. It's nice just to go have coffee within the gorgeous "ginger-bread" building but if you're looking for reading material (in Spanish) it's the place to go.

Come for the books and stay for the cafe or vice versa. Great atmosphere, local, and easily the best spot to read in Puebla

It is a nice place to unwind in the downtown area. Coffee is just ok, service was sub-par, but the place itself is nice and in general you can´t beat a coffee shop with a bookstore.

This is an excellent place: a bookstore, library, cafe, and just an all-around good place to hang out in. Even if you don't read Spanish, this is well worth the visit. Whoever designed it was able to come up with a visually appealing and completely relaxing space with it being in the least bit pretentious. I found... a great selection... More

This book store is for serious readers. I believe they only sell Spanish language materials. A wonderful resource.

Healthy and delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and great selection of books. Very relaxing place to unwind...walk in off of the bustling streets and enter a tranquil oasis where you can sit in the cafe or courtyard and enjoy a cool drink, salad, or sandwich...all excellently prepared. Extensive and eclectic selection of books to browse...most in Spanish, with a small section... More

wonderful selection of books in Spanish. a real bookstore with staff that know what they're doing. some books in English, some stationary, calendars, agendas, children's books galore. But beware, books are not cheap in Mexico. The cafe has a light lunch menu and a bar as well. upstairs is a free public library.

This little hidden place is a real nice option to go book-shopping they have a good but not excellent range of books (yes they seem like a-lot, but once you see closer is not that breath taking) the place is lovely tho and they also have a library. The bar-café is nice and cozy perfect for a casual drink with... More
