Centrally located in the heart of Morelia, Jardin de las Rosas has it all! The enchanting gardens, sculptures and fountain are breathtaking, they have art shows on the weekend and a lovely variety of places to choose to eat and or drink. A wonderful was to spend an afternoon in Morelia!

Apart from the charming gardens, the great overhanging trees and the fountain, apart from the charming little tables for cold or hot drinks, you get the influx of some of them most innovative artists setting up their works in the main walkway. While other sidewalk sales abound, this one always has eye catching pieces. And then the musicians, the students,... More

There are lots of restaurants there but every Sunday there are artist there who display their works, and if you are interested you can take free art classes on that same day. There are 2 or 3 artist who teach while they display their works. So you can have coffee or lunch and enjoy the local artisans works on display,... More

A beautiful square, with cafes along one edge. Fountains, trees bouganvillea, and statues. A great place to chill out and people watch.

A very pleasant spot, just a block from the main plaza, to sit and enjoy a beverage. If you're a sucker for arts and crafts, like I am, there are a couple of stores that carry lovely stuff from around the state of Michoacan.

The jardin is a block off the main street and is a well maintained park with several sidewalk cafes. We visited during the day of the dead celebrations and the park was even nicer with all the decorations, art work and artists in attendance. A relaxing place for lunch and a cerveza.

This is a cute little plaza right by the sweets and handicrafts market. It has several bars and restaurants to choose from - look out for the ones that offer 2 for 1 beer!

We love this wonderful plaza with fountain and cafes. A good place to relax and enjoy the students of music hanging out. The outdoor cafes have good simple Mexican food. You go there to enjoy a quiet time. The music conservatory across the street is worth a visit. It has a lovely garden and it is nice to hear the... More

No roses, but nicely kept small garden areas. Pleasant place to hang out, mostly for the younger crowd. Food here is undistinguished..
