For a group of six foodie friends and family, this was the perfect adventure -- a respite from the bustle of Rome and a delightful half-day with a real Italian family. From the moment Guido collected us at the train station and began telling us of the history of this part of Lazio, we knew that we were in for... More

This cooking tour was recommended by a good friend who visits Italy nearly every year, and every year her friends do this cooking course. I decided to book this cooking course (my friends and I did a half day course where we made a main meal and dessert due to lack of time in the country) but we all came... More

Our group had one of the best days of our trip traveling to Toffia and cooking a delicious 3-course meal together, under the expert guidance of Guido and Sally. There was also time to enjoy the surrounding landscape, visit nearby historic sites, and catch our breath from the fast-paced days of sightseeing we were having in Rome. A really wonderful... More

My girlfriend (now fiancé) and I had a really good holiday in Italy, got engaged in Rome and then topped it off with a perfect three days in Toffia on Sally and Guido's Convivio Rome 3 day version of the cooking classes. They looked after us from before we even got to Italy with helpful guidance about getting there. The... More

The cooking course in Toffia was the highlight of my Italian vacation. Sally and Guido were so friendly and helpful throughout the entire weekend. We made delicious food and I learned a lot of useful cooking tips including how not to chop my fingers off while slicing like a chef. Toffia is such a beautiful and friendly village and it... More

Highly recommended! Guido and Sally were extremely friendly and welcoming hosts. The one-day program was well thought-out and organized, divided between a cooking class, lunch, and a fascinating and informative tour of two historic towns. The cooking lesson was just what I had been looking for. Guido clearly knows his stuff--he explained techniques clearly and gave everyone plenty of hands-on... More

I am so glad you were able to absorb the full italian experience by coming along to one of our longer cooking holidays. This is exactly what we hope all our cooking guests enjoy during their time with us, whether they are coming for a shorter half or one day cooking class or are able to attend a longer 3... More

Eight women who were almost strangers began a month long Italian holiday together in wonderful Toffia at Sally and Guido's 4-day cooking school. Immersed in a medieval community of about 1000 friendly locals, we were billeted within the community's guest homes. The town, people, history and scenery were surely worth the stay, but Sally and Guido's hospitality, professional skills within... More

It was great that you could come to visit us at the beginning of your month long Italian adventure and that coming directly from Australia (where I am originally from) made your experience in our medieval village even more memorable. Our little ancient hilltop village is breathtaking when you first see it perched on a ridge amongst the rolling hills... More

This was my second visit and I took six others this time - I loved it just as much as the first. Lots of fun cooking and eating with Guido and Sally. Just adore the countryside and local villages especially Farfa.. Accomodation in private cottages, breakfast in the cafes, shopping in the supermercato all makes you feel like a local.... More
