We were looking to spend some time outside of Rome and found the cooking classes offered by Sally and Guido the perfect fit for what we wanted. Toffia is an easy 40 minutes train ride from Rome and we did not have to worry about anything once we arrived at the train station in Fara Sabina where we were picked... More

Our stay with Sally and Guido was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Everyone wants to know someone living in Italy so that they can be treated to a home-cooked family meal and that is an understatement of what was provided here in beautiful Toffia! Thank you for elevating our trip from amazing to unbelievable! We will never forget it!.

Thank you for your wonderful praises, of the cooking class day you both had with us. I loved the way you gave your wife (M.) a cooking class as a Christmas gift and that you really enjoyed the gift together. You were both out to have a fabulous time with us from the moment I collected you at the train... More

Highly recommended day trip from Rome. The train was easy and they pick you up. We made pasta the old fashioned way with a wooden rolling pin (mattarello), which was very satisfying. Guido and Sally are quite, well, convivial and the Sabina area is a nice respite from the bustle of the city. A little bit of touring and walking... More

Thank you for your review and I am glad we were able to enjoy a Italian cooking class that included making pasta the traditional hand made way. You mentioned during the cooking class that "making pasta with a rolling pin 'mattarello' was something that you had wanted to do for a long time". I am glad you could do this,... More

I've always wanted to have a cooking experience in Italy so my friend and I spent my birthday with Guido and Sally cooking beautiful authentic Italian food right in their kitchen. From the moment you step off the train a short distance from Rome, you are greeted with warm smiles and a drive through stunning countryside to their hilltop village... More

Sally and Guido took very good care of the guests. The cooking classes were alot of fun and informative (for people of all levels of cooking experience), and the results always delicious! Location was exceptional and the village of Toffia is warm and welcoming to visitors.

My 20 yr old daughter and I spent a glorious day with Sally and Guido, and four people from Scotland, England and Australia. We were picked up from the train station by Sally and shown around their beautiful medieval town. After picking fresh herbs from a community garden, we made homemade gnocchi, stuffed zucchini flowers, with ricotta, parmesan, nutmeg and... More

My 13 year old niece and I spent 10 days in Italy and had a great time. The highlight, hands down, was our cooking day.
