We did the two day Tortuguero and one day rafting trip. We had an amazing time! We were the only two people for the Tortuguero trip so it was basically a private tour with our amazing tour guide Laura! She stopped many times on the way to the Port to show us animal and the banana factory. While in Tortugero... More

We had the most amazing time rafting on our first day in Costa Rica, even after an almost sleepless night due to our majorly delayed flight. Albert ("Tico") was the most perfect guide we could have ever asked for, and an incredible person to just talk to. What a smart guy!! He's studying Mandarin and read the Bible on our... More

We were staying on the Caribbean coast and booked our trip through the office in Puerto Viejo. Two day trip to Tortuguero National Park. Because we had a car and wanted to end up in San Jose eventually, they told us to meet the bus in the morning and follow it to Siquirres where we would join the tour. The... More

We did the one day Pacuare trip and had an awesome time! Abel was our guide and he was great! First the price for the day trip is a great deal. $99 for transport from Arenal, day trip, breakfast, and lunch. The bus picked us up on time and breakfast was delicious and filling. Gallo pinto, eggs, toast, and coffee.... More

This company is very well organized and professional in every way. They served us both breakfast and lunch. The guides were fun and experienced. Best white water rafting I have ever done.

This is a full day's experience. They picked me up early morning from my hotel in San Jose (I believe they pick up from other cities as well). At the hotel they told me that a towel will be provided but apparently not so bring your own. Upon arrival you will have a place to put your bags (big locker... More

We had a phenomenal time rafting the gorgeous Pacuare river. The guides were fantastic. They were professional, informative, funny, and they did a wonderful job of keeping everyone safe - and we had a lot of youngsters in our group. I actually fell out of the raft and was scooped up before I even knew what hit me! They provided... More

Can't say enough good things about our guides. We really enjoyed the overnight trip; fantastic food cooked by our guides and a surprisingly glamping-style camp with bathroom, shower, beds and electricity. If you do the overnight: you have a long afternoon free on the first day - see if you can find and fit in the semi-ghetto zipline that's located... More

My son and I took the 4-hour, $99 river rafting trip down the Pacuare with Exploradores Outdoors. Wonderful experience. The hotel pickup at 6am took us to a central location, then we (visitors from many different hotels) loaded onto a bigger bus and took off for the Exploradores Outdoors basecamp about 2 hours away. Just so you understand the logistics,... More
