We did the 1 day river rafting day trip and it was a ton of fun! The guides picked us up in Puerto Viejo early in the morning and drove us to the main camp site for breakfast. There was a full breakfast included (so huge you could stuff your face.... greeeeat for before river rafting!). The food was really... More

It is amazing!! The guids are also very friendly and the fact that they pick you up and bring you back to the hotel is very easy. We did the overnight-rafting and the place where you sleeps is really beautiful!

As another reviewer said, rafting plus transport = great deal. We got picked up early in La Fortuna and rode for 3 hours to the base. Had a satisfactory breakfast and stored our luggage in the huge shared lockers (I was slightly nervous about that, but everything was fine). We were loaded on buses and taken on a gorgeous drive... My 8 yr old and I rafted the Carmen section of the river with our guide Michael and I cannot put into words how absolutely incredible he was! He spent over an hour with my son looking at the rafts, explaining how things worked, and answering probably a thousand questions! I've been rafting numerous times before and Michael is the... More

Had lots of fun doing the Pacuare white river rafting trip, our guide Andres was absolutely the best! Also, apart from the rafting, the included lunch (we didn't try the breakfast) was really yummy, and you can't beat their package which includes transportation from your hotel and to your next destination, for a reasonable price compared to other costa rican... If you're not familiar with this outfit, you can be picked up in one of three locations (La Fortuna, San Jose or Puerto Viejo) and you can choose to be dropped off in a different location. This alone makes the rafting trip well worth your time! I was in Puerto Viejo and chose to be dropped off in La Fortuna... More

I took the rafting tip from puerto viejo to San Jose. Super-convenient way to travel without loosing the day. The pick-up shuttle was on time, the guides really friendly and there was a big focus on safety which I appreciated, also because I had never done proper whitewater rafting before. After a really good breakfast, we got our helmets and... More

Andres is the best guide in raft 1. He has over ten years experience on this river and will give you the ride of your life and fun!!! A cool part of this is the transfer. They picked me up in La Fortuna and dropped me off in Paurta Viejo in the Caribbean. In the middle I got to raft,... More

Two great days tour in tortuguero picking us up in La Fortuna and leaving us in Cahuita. Everything was perfect as promised and very serious and professional staff. Many thanks to Laura that made our tour really enjoyable.

We had a great trip, great guide, everything as promised, and exceeded our expectations. My review would be similar to what other 5-star reviews have said on here, so instead I'll offer some practical advice that we didn't know before our trip: -Bring an empty water bottle. You can fill up your water bottle for free during breakfast to take... More
