Good place to surf but also swim or just hang on the beach. There are nicer beaches but this is the place to surf. If you want to surf be sure to book in advance. There are also neat rock formations that have crabs all over them. No facilities or food.

Costa azul stretches from Old mans, la rocks and zippers all the way down to the estuary. Surfing to beach breaks, calm and rough Some places quite wide Some places quiet and serene Some places resorted, loud and vendored A beach is Always good!

All of January, calm sea and whales for the watching, rays to entertain close in and great place to swim. Bummed there are no beach bars after Brisa closed. Actually can't even get a fish taco on the beach (maybe at Mama Mia's? Is it open after storm?)

Costa Azul is a beautiful place with breathtaking views of the water and peninsula. Prime surfing location and a great place to just relax for the afternoon.

The beach shone in the sun and the ocean sparkled. Very few vendors and tourists after the hurricane. I think this is the best time to appreciate what made this part of the world a destination.

Amazing ambiance and amazing food. My friends took me here when they were trying to convince me to move to Baja. It worked. I wish I had known about this resort when I had my wedding, it would have been perfect!

We, my wife and I, had the opportunity to visit Costa Azul for our zip lining, rappelling, and vigorous climbing (to get to each zip lining station), while on our vacation to Mexico. I really enjoyed the zip lining, each station, (total of 7), was more challenging than the previous. One was 1800 feet long and had great views. That... More

The best beach in San Jose. Still not crowded with hordes of tourists this is a nice beach to visit. Great for a walk along the waters edge it is long, white and gleams in the Baja sun.

Costa Azul Surf shop or others will set you up near Zippers or Old Man's. You can also take a trip up to Todos Santos area for surfing.
